Guys was sup im new to dsm just bought a 97 gst just want to get a toll of how many dsm's are in the area

whats wrong with yours? and for the engine go "marketplace" then "dsm classified" and use the search on top.

think i have a rod knock ummm im not sure yet havent got the car yet been talkn to the owner that what he make it out to be

i have some extra cash for a block if someone wants to sell one in the area

I know a guy with a block sitting around or 2, not sure if he's selling but I'm sure he he can help ya get one if not.

If your in Nashville. there is actually a GSX at Pull-A-Part off of Centennial Bolv. With a Full 6 bolt. It would need a rebuild but its gold!

Yeah I met him through my buddy Randy, and I was also referred to him by the guys at the O'rileys down the street haha.

I live in the Boro and starting to get pretty hard ore in the dsm fever. Just picked up a completely stock 96 get. Let me know if you guys are ever getting together.

On another note. The lady that owned this car said it had a new short block put in it after the car was only two years old. Anybody k now of any kind of problems that would warrant that??

That would be my luck. I finally buy my second DSM after 14 years and buy on that had Crankwalk?? Figures, Funny thing is the clutch is acting funny on it right now.

The car is completely stock right now. I'm going to get some pictures of it posted this weekend after a good cleaning. It's that teal/green color, but the clear coat is coming off pretty bad on it. Wish I would have kept the motor out of my 90 TSI after I flipped it!!!!! I work in Franklin. I should be able to swing by one of these days. Need to get tags on the beast first though.

Ah the teal green color is one of my favorite colors.. You don't see many 2nd gens with that color around here anymore. And im just suspecting crankwalk. Mine crankwalked several times haha. Then i went with a 6 bolt instead.
