Just looking to put together a nice meet,for the PGH,and all surrounding areas. i figured id post a thread and see if this caught anyones attention

let me know if youd be interested,and we can figured out a time and place,best for everyone.

I could show up, although I don't currently have any of my turbo cars on the road.

Hell ill pick you up justin haha. You can use my laptop an tune my car the hole way there all you want . Yeah it is kinda strange to wanna get a pittsburgh meet going in winter.....

Lets just wait until this summer, but start organiziing it now?

I'm up for a meet. Most of the people i know either sold their DSM's or don't drive them for whatever reason so I've been looking for others.

well post where is good for all you guys. for myself, greensburg walmart is pretty popular. its right off the turnpike not too far down rt. 30. up for suggestions. Theres like a steak and shake and a bunch of places like that. i wont be home from college until dec 12th but whenever is good for everyone.

If you do this in the summer Im deff down for it. I need to get my 2g back together...

after i fully install my new timing belt and figure out a way to get the key to work in the ignition ill be there. maybe a week or so.

I'm pretty well centered here. I can get to Greensburgh and Pittsburgh both in about 20-30minutes. The Waterfront is also close by as well as Monroeville. If we can get enough people together Id travel further but we need to get it together soon because its getting colder day by day. I used to have 10-12 close friends all with DSMs right in my area. Over the years all but 3 of them have sold theirs. A few years ago I tried to organize a meet like this at the Waterfront. We ended up with like 12 cars but only 2 that I didn't already know .

waterfront would be cool too. i think everyone pretty much knows where that is. so lets talk a date??? for me dec 13th (sunday) looks the most promising. but how about everyone else? also if you are worried about a turn out, what do you think about trying to get some other cars other than dsm's? just throwing around ideas.

The local Subaru guys meet up at the Robinson Quaker Steak and Lube the 1st Wednesday of every month, even in the winter. It's nice to go and look at the cars and talk with everyone even in the winter due to no car shows going on. Maybe we could do something like that?

what ever happened to this seems like we only got 1 more big snow storm left but what are we planning for the summer and if so where at waterfront? Some good pics come to mind in between those giant smoke stacks or whatever those towering concrete stacks are right by D&B and the Lowes. Either way if theres a meet in any of the surrounding ares 724 - 412 i dont care where i better get a pm or an invite

I think we should definitely set this up for the spring or early part of summer. Probably on a Sunday due to most peoples work schedules and lets try not to have it coincide with any other DSM event like the shootout or E-town or anything like that. This way we would get the maximum turnout. Lets get a date figured out and get a list going of who will all show up.

Wait until april! Ill have my talon done by then. It will tear the blacktop off the already badly paved roads!

funny story. i was at sheetz one night and some guy with an 89 rustbucket civic says, "your car's a joke! your ricer couldn't keep up" as he sits there with his car which u can see the ground the wheel wells...which his ###gy altezzas and $50 paint job. i told him to see if he could keep up with me as i drove down 22 towards monroveille mall. SMOKED him.

he said he grinded gears. i told him my car was misfiring. he was a dooosh

Im going to be in the next few weeks i hope, then working on a talon for the next month. If everything works out. But as of right now im still driving it.

I'm a bit new with dsm's, but I'd love to meet up with ppl and get to know these cars better. So I'm in for the meet. The point could be good or another rather well known large place, just a thought.
