Get rid of it?

I'm sure you could easily use an led strip from walmart or somewhere similar. Just have to make small tabs to hold it inside of the rear window and hook the wires up to the stock brake light wiring. Not a very hard job at all.

Or you could find a stock 3rd brake light from a truck (small one) and mount it to hatch above your rear window. Just have to make the bezel fit so that it flows with the car.

2gb gsx's with the high rise wing used a 3 rd brake light inside the hatch glass. That would be your best bet if you want to keep a 3rd brake light.

why would you wanna keep it? i think 2 brake lights is just as good as 3?

and i just tucked it away too. you need to get the holes filled, or fill them yourself if you are familiar with body work. you can fibreglass them from the bottom (if you can get to them) and than bondy ontop and finish it nicely. or u can dent your trunk where the holes are, lay fibreglass over the holes, and than fill then small dent with body.

however you do it you should fill them or else if it rains water will get soak your trunk

The led strips you are refering to are designed to go between the tailgate and bumper of trucks and suvs. It just might work for your application. Check JC Whitney for all Auto parts - Car, Truck, Jeep, Motorcycle & RV Parts for the led strip. They do come in different lengths and styles if my memory is good. Good luck.

No, they are not. I wouldnt suggest using a 5 foot light strip as a 3rd brake light in a car. The led strips I am referring to are only about 18 inches wide. They are actually designed for interior.

if you dont wanna do that fiberglass fix for the holes electrical tape works great for a black car :) wingless ftw!!

No

Either do it the right way like I did, fill the holes and repaint the hatch, or get some rubber gromets similar to the gromets found underneath the cars floors that you can run wire through.

M buddy bought a police interceptor with antenna holes all over and we used those, looks alright but still just a temporary fix.

I took my talon wing off, i just was not feeling it. I ended up using electrical tape on the inside of the hatch and kept layering it up till it was decently thick. The i took some good ole bondo and filled in the holes on the outside of the hatch and sanded it smooth an hit it with the spray bomb till i get the body done. Much happier with the semi ghetto look rather then the boomerang for killing kangaroos in the outback.:talon:

Im thinking about going wingless to. I don't know though can you guy's post's some pictures of your car's wingless. I'm also thinking aobut it becuase it covers a small part of the bottum of the rear window enough so it creates a small blind spot.

its somthing i dont mind doing every 6months until i go to get her painted in a year or 2

i tooke the ricer wing off to day i think it looks badass what do you guys think ill try and post b4 and after pics or just look at my pics thanks

All that matters is if you like it. Pics are good though just to show us. And also just go to a decent auto parts store and tell them about your holes. They should point you to some automotive sealant or fiberglass or something to fill the holes in. There are some specific things but the names don't come to me at the moment. Do it right though. Have a ricer wing put on right or having no wing but a ghetto cover up job? Personally, I wouldn't have either.

Just lose the third brake light. Thats what I did. :thumb:

I just used plastic interior push ins...like the ones that hold panels and put strip calk around the heads of them so water cant get in. Just until I fix the holes or do a carbon fiber hatch
