thanks guys. Yeah trust my IM DYING FOR A GST/X.

Im really working hard on trying to get one.

But I cant complain with the 420a. Its reliable..for the most part. Had a bunch of issues but there all fixed. I just have a small oil leak from the head gasket. So i have to throw a new one in.

I should post some interior pics:)

He's referring to 2gb sideskirts... From the pics it looks like you have 2ga sides...

But i must admit, its looking very nice...!

Things i would do to "make it look better" (obviously this is my opinion) would be an OEM carbon fiber hood, hid lowbeams, hid fog's, all black interior....

But thats really the beauty of 2gb cars is that they look really good stock :hellyeah:

And My HIDs are being ordered as soon as a i get paid. I can just throw the bulbs in right? I dont know to much about them
 
^Nice man, now im jealous w/ the all black interior... My red gsx has tan... And why would people hassle you for having an oem carbon fiber hood...? Having a carbon fiber hood has really nothing to do with being "turboed", Plus if you ever get your 2g gst/gsx you could still use it...

As far as the hid's, make sure to get an "hid kit", not just the bulbs... You will not be happy with just bulbs and hid kits are cheap enough these days and most kits are plug and play...
 
Actually theres a website that has a special on hid kits right now for $40 shipped w/ 3 year warranty, crazy good deal... Im at work now so i dont recall what the website is but i bookmarked it on my personal computer so i'll send it to you later today...
 
Yes very easy to install... HID Light bulb connector/Stock Light bulb power source both plug into the aftermarket ballast provided in the kit, install hid light bulb into headlight housing... your done...

and for LongJonSilver, Im trying to get my windows tinted, I know a guy that can do the whole car for 150. And im working on lowering it too.

I was thinking go with some megan racing springs.

Get the cf hood, it would look sick. Remember you can always boost the 420a
 
2gmummy, i was actually thinking about that but my car has 154,000 and a small leak in the headgasket that i have to take care of. Do you think I should boost it with a small t3/t4?
 
With any amount of boost over like 5lbs it'll be a big difference since its n/a to begin with...and im not 100% on this but i think the 4g63 mani will bolt up to it. But imo i'd start with a small turbo, see how i like it and if the engine tranny and what not could handle it.

Nevermind the 4g63 mani wont bolt up to the 420a
 
Yeah I actually have most of the pieces for a t3/t4 kit. Im just waiting on some oil feed/return lines and a few other little things and Im hoping to be boosting over spring break when i have some time. Because this is my only car and I use it everyday.
 
Anti rice FTW...

First off, before boosting it, clean up any kind of mechanical problems or potential problems, then go to work. Boost it the way it is, and you're dooming yourself.

yeah i will. i looked into that leak(which I havent leaked any oil for a while) but im pretty sure its just a valve cover gasket now. Since its super rare to have oil leak from the head gasket. Other than that everything is working perfectly. I just have some interior dome lights that dont work because of a short...
