Hey everyone,
I've met this guy a few times myself at meets. In fact, this is my old 1g that I sold him. He's kind of a weird ass mofo (always sniffling and real jittery), but a genius.

His thread inspired me to get some help from my dad. He works for ITW (Illinois Tool Works) and designs very advnced automated machines, Robots if u will, for huge companies like Coca-Cola and Johnson&Johnson. My dad is helping him with all of the designs on SolidWorks (Well know advanced CAD program).

This thread is pretty funny, but I'm going to be laughing my ass off even more if he actually does pull it off. Anyone remember the VW with the jet engine in the rear end? :) I'm sure lots of people laughed at him when he mentioned doing it before it was done...

Yes, I do remember. They've put a jet engine in a streetbike, a dragcar, a VW, etc. But taking a road vehicle, and turning it into an actual flying vehicle is virtually impossible. Yes, there have been "flying cars". They were extremely lightwieght and not at all roadworthy. Not to mention the one I saw was engineered from the ground up to be a part time airplane.

I think anybody that believes this is remotely possible needs to have a CAT scan on their brain to check for a damn tumor that could be making them dellusional. Slapping wings and a prop on something doesn't make it fly.

It was a great troll, but let's all move on now. Just, JUST in case, like on the off-chance, that the OP is serious... I'm calling out a mental disorder.

Can the mods make this thread die in a fire now? Please and thank you.
