You can grind a half-moon shape in the compressor cover once it's clocked properly to gain a little clearance between the fitting and the cover.

That's what I had to do to my comp cover.

Also, you'll want to create a flange for the fitting instead of welding it directly on the center section so it's removable.

Hey guys im in the process of my building my 6bolt. As many of you know i will be running the big H1C holset. After readin threw all these post i decided to post up some pics of my oil return line setup. Feel free to comment and tell me what you think. I had to trim the front motor mount just a little bit to clear the an fittings.

What do you guys think justin and matt?

whats the size of the feed line ?

Maybe a dumb question . do you know what kind of manifold that is? the hx35 i have has the t3 housing and i'm trying to get away with not buying the bep housing for it.

That manifold in the pic is an ebay t3 manifold that has been modified (flange cut and rewelded) for the turbo to clear the block. If you want to stick with a t3 manifold then your best bet would be either the erl mani, a turbonetics cast manifold, or you can look into divided twin scroll manis in a t3 but they get very pricey. Not to mention you'll need a custom o2 housing/downpipe with the stock holset housing.

That T3 manny is a ebay one. I had a good friend of mine that really knows how to weld really good cut and reweld the T3 flange. My oil feed line is a -4 line

Heres a few pics

Well, I figured I could add my junk to the thread.....

I have roughly $9.80 in this entire return line setup....

Heres my flange for the turbo, Friend of mine welded the fitting on for me....

Heres a quick measurement....Roughly 7/8 ID on the fittings and the hose ID is 1in

Gasket fits almost perfectly.....

Had my friend also weld the fitting onto the pan....So no worries of the gasket leaking there....

Then went to O'riellys and a friend let me basically search there back room until I found a hose that had a premolded shape that fit....and I found one that was perfect.....

Should be enough to drain the oil....Everything fits perfect...

Looks great, but keep an eye on that hose to make sure it doesn't turn soggy and collapse. Try to find the same molded hose in silicone if you can; silicone hose isn't effected by hot oil like standard petroleum-based rubber heater hose.

Interesting.....Ill watch out for it, the car is in pieces at the moment but Ill post up after some abuse...

Do you have any shots of the outlet from the turbo? I'm curious to see how you did your whole setup and it has me thinking of going that route. I was first thinking of going with Push-Lok but if your is easier and works just as good, I'll do that.

Band clamps are quicker to remove than turning a wrench LOL.

I love how well that hose fits, It just looks like its meant to be. If only this was silicone hose. Then again if its that inexpensive it wouldn't be a bad idea to just carry an extra one and keep an eye on it. Who makes the hose and whats the part number for it?

The flange you have on the housing, did you purchace a specific flange with a fitting on the end or bore out a random flange and weld on some pipe?

I got the fittings and took the gasket to a friend...He cut the flange free handedly based on the gasket and welded the two together....

The hose, I will find the part number and post it when I get some time....A friend let me wonder through the back of the Oreillys he works at until I found it, it took a while but its an almost exact match...

I use a ruber heater hose, it was on the car for a couple years then when I got some new heater hoses I used it for my oil drain, it's been on the car for over a year and I haven't had any I'll effects. The hose is still stiff and the molded part makes a nice smooth bend, my -10 fittings push in nice and tight and I have a worm clamp on it as well.
