What are the benefits of solid motor mounts vs poly-thane motor mounts?

Less engine movement, ability to shift quicker. There are a few advantages but for most everyone on the board Prothane mounts are sufficient. When changing mounts though you gotta remember that if the mounts aren't absorbing the vibration of the engine something else is so regular nut and bolt checks are a good idea.

I was reading couple days ago and a guy post that he baught solid motor mount from someone from this site. The member name was biglady112 but can not find this person. I am interested in getting me some. can someone help me out. thank you

Biglady stopped making the front and rear mounts last time I checked. I would just go with Avid's set of 4 if your looking to go solid.

Is there any that will fit 97 eclipse gs n/t

biglady only made them for the turbo versions also. I'm unsure about the n/t world.

Structural rigity in the front end, better power transfer to the driveline, help eliminate wheelhop. Check out Gixxerdrew's blog if you havent seen it already. Great reading.

Fab up some your self. I've seen a "500 hp" 420a with a 35r locally and I'm pretty sure he had a shop do the work for him, so that's an option also. Good luck.
