I go the fabric at joannes fabric store. I used a pretty thick material that is felt on one side and sort of a suede finish on the other.

There is no sewing involved the only things needed are fabric, scissors and 3m spray on adhesive.

The paint would wear off in a second on the sunvisors from the friction of moving them. And I like the white background to my gauge cluster, it sort of sets the dash off.

Also thanks for all the positive replys.

Great job, looks awesome
I'm just finishing up my black interior, I was wondering what paint you used for the plastic parts like the sunroof bezel? The few parts I painted came out glossy, and there were no indications on the can saying gloss or flat black.
Any plans for the seats or carpet?

Thanks guys. The paint I used was duplicilof vinyl and fabric paint the color is called low gloss black I believe. The paint works very well you just should paint all the pieces on a hot day. I plan to keep the carpet gray for a little contrast and im saving up for black bride bios low max seats.

Also, to shorten the antenna all you need to do is cut it to the desired length, pull the ball on the top off with plyers, drill the hole in the ball out slighltly bigger. Then press the ball back on to the shortened antenna.

Great thanks,
Hot days are a little hard to come by in the middle of January up here in Canada:p so i guess a heater or heat lamp will be the next best thing. If you mean the bride vios low max seats, my buddy has those in his 240. Very nice seats, not so DD friendly though

Dang it came out looking pretty awesome! So did cutting the antenna affect the radio in any way?:thumb:

Thanks everyone. I made the blockoff plates out of sheet metal (steel). The plates did cut down some road noise because I would always start to hear air coming through the seals above 65mph.

Also, as far as I can tell cutting the antenna did not effect the radio.

Man, im gonna take on the doing my head liner... just did an R-n-R a sunroof on my friends talon. now that i found out how easy it is to remove the liner. the only thing now is figure out how to recover it..

The interior came out excellent. Clean car, but I'm not really liking the white gauges.
