Sounds like you got one hell of a deal! Very nice.:thumb:

Do they include the mounting brackets and sliders?

I will be purchasing the sliders and brackets from "Wedge engineering".
They feel really comfy and supportive when I gave them a test sit when they were sitting on the floor... The guy I bought these off of was in the marines and was in japan and picked them out and brought them back, they even had some "JDM" dirt on them!

Are those different than the US Evo8 seats then? They look more aggresive, skinnier, and more supportive. Usually they install fat person seats in all US cars. They look great!

Yes they are different, they came out of an Evolution 3, not an 8-10. I bought them off e-bay, I thought the price was gonna skyrocket but I guess nobody searches for evoIII seats :p

Whoops, missed the part they were EvoIII, not EvoVIII. They look much better too.

Did you get them at craigslist? I think I was looking at a pair of those but figured I wouldn't be saving much weight with stock seats.

Finally put them in today! I used the stock sliders and welded some L brackets to them, and bolted them in! I spent a total of $15 to get them mounted in.
They feel so much better than the stock leathers, no more holding on to the steering wheel around a turn, these puppies hold you right in.

Very nice Rich. I see you wasted no time on getting my old shift knob in there too. I can't wait to get seats again I just sold my Bride styled buckets a week ago.

How high do they sit? My Head is touching the metal part of the Roof in my 2g when I sit straight up. I am only 6 foot. I would hate to think of what it will be like when I put the headliner back in.

I really need to figure something out with my seats.
