OK heres the deal. I have been slowly putting together my 1g AWD for about 3 months. I finally got a truck for my daily driver, so I decided to put a little more work into my Talon. My last set up only ran a 14.7, but was still pretty fast on the street. I am really hoping for some 12 second passes with my new set up. Boost will be set around 20-22 PSI.

OLD SET UP:
Small 16g
Catback Exhaust
Hard IC Piping
K&N Intake
255 Wally

NEW SET UP:
Tdo5 20g
Turbo XS MBC
EBAY FMIC
FIC 750cc
Wally 255
2g MAF
AFPR
3 inch TBE
Delta 272 Cams
BSE Kit
Spec Stage 2+ Clutch
ACT Flywheel
EPROM ECU w/ Keydiver Stage 3 Chip
SAFC II
AEM Wideband o2
Palm Logger
Prosport Boost Gauge

Thats pretty much it. All the maintnance has been taken care of. The motor got freshened up including the following parts:
ACL Race Bearings (Main and Rod)
Cometic Head Gasket
ARP Head/Rod/Main Studs
New Water/Oil Pump
New Timing Belt/Tensioner

Hopefully with this set up I will see some good numbers. This is my first ever build so I want to make sure everything is right. Although its my first build, I have been doing a lot of research and working on these cars for a while, so im not unfamiliar with these cars. I just finally feel comfortable with taking on a project car. Any and all comments are welcome. Let me know what yall think.

Good luck man! I'm sure it feels good to be wrapping up your build and get the car sorted out. When will you be dyno'ing the car? My current setup is very close to your old setup. What boost were you running at that time?

Old set up was on 14 lbs because I didn't have the fuel back then.

^^ I dont get it.... im running 19psi, no fuel cut on a small 16g, and almost the same set up, except a evo 8 pump. How were you not getting fuel? And i can run a 13 second in my car atm....so there are other issues. Maybe you need to practice your launching.

Edit...i do also have a fmic...but still

I never said I wasn't getting fuel. I just said that i didn't have any fuel upgrades besides the pump and didn't have a a way to control the fuel, so I played it safe and set the boost at 14 lbs.

Maybe you shouldve tried to max out your first setup but to each their own.

Good luck man

I was gonna stick with that set up actually, but when I pulled the motor to fix/freshen up everything, too many offers came up that I couldnt turn down and I wound up trading away my old set up for parts for this set up.:thumb:

you should easily run 12s with your new setup

Thanks man. I would settle for a mid to high 12, but really want mid to low 12's.

Forgot to say that I am considering putting nitrous with my set up. I'm thinking about a 50 shot might do the job.
