Typical 2g guys LOL j/k I just pulled it out the back of the talon to mock fit it and cover up the hole so nothing gets in. It will get cleaned before install trust me.

I am going with a single external fuel pump I just haven't. Made my mind up 100% if it will be a fuelab magnafuel or weldon. I am talking to a guy with a fuelab pump right now I might pick up which would def do the trick. I'm driving up to JMF in a little to drop off the cell to get anodized and shoot the shit with them and see the new shop. After I finish my fuel setup and get this engine machined and in the car this project will be coming down home stretch :)

Wow, you are awesome job,Sean. I haven't visited your thread in a while.

It will be one hell of a car... GL......
Thanks a lot andy. Hopefully I run into you again this year at the showdown/shootout.

Gf ordered me another one of Pauls's front x-mas :thumb: and my cell will be done next week and ill go pick it up at jmf. Should be a good week

Moving to Bennington VT in a few weeks . I will be coming to NYC alot since I have family n friends here. I make sure you will run into me tho :shhh:

Yeah I would move far away from me too LOL j/k. Well ill be watching your build as well and keeping an eye out to see you back in the area. Good luck

Got my new crossmember from paul(99gstracer). This time I painted it so it wouldn't rust like the last one from sitting out in the elements. Of course this shell isn't being kept outside right now still it looks much better painted anyway. Paul is the man and anyone looking to get that solid roll stop feel and shed some pounds this is the part you want to get.

looking good man. I was thinking of picking one of these up too. Does the removal of the north south braces affect the chassis any?

It's not supposed to but I'm sure it's made for straight-line racing and where turning isn't a concern. As you can see, you get rid of the two North-South braces and that's where you lose some weight. I have one as well but I have yet to install it.....it's a damn good piece and Paul's biz ethics are among the best.

It will to some degree but we actually talked about this in a big thread about these(not just paul's design) and in a nut shell as long as your not going to be using the car for autox or time attack or anything crazy like that it's perfectly fine to eliminate those north south bars. This tubular bar is lighter too so it's not just deleting the north south bar that saves weight. Anyone that considers straight line driving their main concern I would def hit paul up. They are cheap to considering your getting a solid roll stop and saving weight at the same time.

I have one of these pieces too. Im using it along with Avid "race" mounts.

I can see that maybe it would affect a bone stock full weight 1g on stock suspension to some small degree, but on a 1g with full suspension and some weight reduction, i cant see it affecting any spirited driving and cornering too much.

If it does affect it that much to where you can notice it, I bet a nice front sway bar will help out alot too. I'm not worried at all about driving my car without the North/South bars.

Ive been running a tubular k-member, a custom made front bar for almost 2 years now. With kyb gr2s, and now k-sports and it takes turns just fine, even without the sway bar.

You need to cut the north south bard and stilll run them across the main cross member that holds the rack. If you don't they have cracked on a lot of drag only cars.

That piece really interests me. I would be curious if the little bit of weight savings you get would be worth it.
