Traded a 42" plasma and 700 bucks for my 95" Talon Tsi AWD. TV was worth about 400 bucks so I guess I spend 1,100 on it. It had 138K miles and all it needed was a clutch master cylinder, IAC sensor and a front axle. Oh and this was back in March '09.

i paid 600 bux for my 94 1.8L 1GB (all the way!) and it was the best decision i ever made. great car. i opted to put in about 400 into parts that it didnt need yet. -- brakes, oil, fuel filter, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, clutch, flex pipe, and radiator. most within the first 10k i put on it. ---

i recently put some studded tires on it -- big ol' 205/75R15 that BARELY fit in the wheel well. but it works although i lost ALOT of torque but i basically added another gear, im rev'ing about 1k less rpm at the same speed as the other tires.

although i do regret to report that it has been in an accident (not my fault -- red light, got hit by 02 ford explorer) and the insurance is thinking about totaling the car. very minor damage but the insurance believes the car isnt worth much. not sure what im gonna do with it.

i got my 1991 laser turbo fwd for 600 with 138000 miles on it two years ago. Put Arps in them and while putting it together hooked up some vacuum lines wrong and was running 25 psi boost. it was absolutely insane especially after the power steering pump started leaking. the torque steer was crazy. before you would finish the sentence the car would have gone from 20 to 75 mph. the only thing that stopped it was that because one of the arp studs themselves came loose that the head popped up slightly and destroyed the head gasket. :ohdamn: now im putting 2g pistons 1g rods and polished crank, with a head that flows over 500hp. im still waiting on parts but i hope to get it done very soon.

idk if anyone is going to believe me but i bought a 1997 eclipse spyder gs for 50$ the guy didnt know what to do with it.. it was sitting in his garage bc he didnt know how to start it. (i did) so i offered him 50$ he took the offer because of lack of space haha to him ROFL

i got a 1996 talon esi traded a 1992 dodge dakota that was rusted they #### out talon has no body damage no rust needed a ecu picked 1 up from a yard for 10 bucks runs perfect just wondering how hard is it to replace the timing belt and valve stem seals and is the 420a motor even worth the time seams like my old talon that had a 4g63 was alot snapier should i just do a swap

idk if anyone is going to believe me but i bought a 1997 eclipse spyder gs for 50$ the guy didnt know what to do with it.. it was sitting in his garage bc he didnt know how to start it. (i did) so i offered him 50$ he took the offer because of lack of space haha to him ROFL
