Hi

I'm just asking for a list of components to buy here, i havent got the slightest clue about cars, my brother is a mechanic so he will install the components but he wont be bothered with finding the information first.

I have a 97 GSX automatic drive

100% stock except for a Greddy pop-off valve. 214 hK

What i want is to tune the car to about 300hk , give or take.

Can anyone just write down some components i have to buy to achieve this, ( i want a safe and sound engine , not something that says *POFF* if i drive to hard )

I can get my hands on basicly everything through ebay and dealers here in Norway

Thank you for all your help

I have no idea what hK's are. Well let's see here, for starters, do maintenence! MAINTAIN your car. You won't go anywhere with a car that isn't as reliable as you can make it. Do timing belts, brakes, religious oil changes, Transmission fluid change. If your car isn't running as it should, don't start adding parts. Alright now for starters, I noticed you have a Blow off valve, are you recirculating this blow off valve? Make sure it's not just blowing off into the air, you should be running a hose off the top of the blow off valve to recirculate it. Here is a link you can follow to read.

I suggest not buying ebay parts, I know it's difficult for you to get parts in norway, but ebay parts have terrible quality.

thank you for the answer :)

ofcourse stupid me ( hk = hestekrefter = horsepower in english ) , forgot that we didnt use the same expression.

so basicly i want around 300horsepower

Doesn't need to do: 255lph Wally, AFPR, headgasket, head studs.

Instead do: Wally 190 (or Evo 8/9 pump) and 272 cams. The studs and gasket would be a nice safety addition, but at that power (and boost level of the 16g) it's not really needed.

BUT all this will only net you a little higher then 300 CRANK horsepower. Being AWD and an auto, wheel horsepower will be significantly lower.

Are there huge limitations to what i can do with the car since its automatic , compared to manual shifting?
