Hey there, this is my first post on this forum. I'm definitly a newbie to DSM. I've was a VAG/BMW guy until I picked up this Evo from Japan. I've had it for over a year and I still love it. My Evo is bone stock and just turned over 100k. I don't plan to get wild with it but I'd like to squeeze out another 50 hp. I just cracked my exhaust manifold and would like to find a header to fit the evo and stock TD05. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Derek

Try looking for a used Evo 3 exhaust manifold.you can pick up a decent one for around $100:)

your best bet is going to be ebay.com my friend. you can buy the stock one or after market for a decent amount. ill just say tha you will have better luck finding stuff in canada then the states. cause you have to pay customs and extra shipping and stuff before you get it so a $100 item could cost twice that. ita the price you pay. i will keep my eyes open but also try dsmgraveyard.com

all DSM and evo 1-3 can use the same exhaust manifolds. 50 HP gain is not too hard.

Stock evo3 manifold is the largest stock runner for that model 4g63. you can have it ported also. they run new around 170-200 bucks. It also has a 7cm opening, I am not sure if the 16g on the evo has the same size turbine housing inlet.

Forced performance makes a cast manifold that fits up with the stock coolant and water lines. (I am pretty sure about this information, but I do have a doubt just because its an evo1 and the manifold is made for DSM)

First of all thanks for all the input. Would I see any appreciable gains with the FP manifold over an Evo3? I'll be driving down to SoCal for Christmas can anyone tell me where there is a good shop along I5 that might have one of these instock?
