great deal, does it run?why did you get it so cheap?Well good luck great find.If you want too sell it I will give you 550.00 LOL:pray:

The code should be on the VIN sticker on the firewall, near the battery. It often has worn-off. However, your paint will no longer match its code, as it has faded. A paint shop will use a kind of scanner to match it. Still:So get the code then go to that page and look it up

yea its all faded off thats why i wanted to ask to make sure im thinking about getting it redone to turn it into a panda i think there sexy:thumb:

i was thinking about it after winter so your more then welcome to come to lancaster to check it out man

Great buy. BUT and a BIG but, why would someone sell a car with so much money invest in it??? The turbo alone is worth more than $500. Either he lied to you or your lying about the price you paid for it. Not trying to call you a liar but come on. Theres Easily $5,000 of parts in this car and you got it for $500. Maybe im wrong and you bought this from the dumbiest owner of a dsm but if that guy did all that work i Highly doubt he would sell his pride and joy for chump change.

REALLY. Spends over 5g's in parts not including the price of the car and he HATED it! I call Shenanigans!! More likely hes brother leaves to the army and he sells it not knowing what he had. His brother's going to come back and be one mad mo fo.

That may be, but I would check the title to make sure the brother that sold it to you had the right to sell it, otherwise it could be taken back later due to theft. Ask him for the bro's email so you can ask him about tuning and find out if he knew it was being sold.

As a soldier I would be beyond Pissed off if some one sold my car. Especially if I've dumped that much into it. It would be like picking up his wife because he's not there for a year. There is something morally wrong with taking advantage of some one that's overseas, or gone training. Not to mention that if he comes back, he can sue to have it returned. Power of attorney might give him the legal right to sell off his brother's things, but that does NOT mean it's right. Additionally, if the brother wants the car back, I think as a soldier he could get a really decent lawyer to win back the car.

Granted, if his brother didn't make it back from combat, then it would not be nearly the problem.

Sounds like his brother wanted to screw him. "Make mom and dad proud will you. I'll show you. Sell your things! Then what will you have?"

its all legit no worries guys geez some people should just be proud im just gonna delete all my post and stuff now i figured everyone would be happy for my not look for the bad in the situation sorry guys

Well, we are happy for the purchase, it's just. . . It's great, it is. And it sounds like a great car.

I had a car when I went into the army and while I was in basic training my parents gave it to some one and they ended up putting auto tranny fluid in my brakes and it was undrivable. I'm concerned about when the soldier returns. Who knows, when he gets back he might go for a subaru, or a truck. You never know.

I apologize for trying to force my moral views on you. Have fun with the car.

^_^

Why did the OP delete ALL relevant posts concerning the car?

Now I'm suspicious...
