No, 2g cars are almost entirely different.

Still might go get and and sell it cheap if its a eprom ecu since other guys want them. Easy way to make a few bucks to get my firebird back on the road.

the 95 ecu will not work on the 92
they have different wire harenesses

only 91-94 will work, but 90 are different also so 90's only go into 90's.And pick it up for only 25 bucks good deal.If it is e-prom you will make some money on that.

Go there with a cross tip screw driver and pull it apart and take a look at it.

Just a quick correction, a 95 ecu will not EASILY go into a 1g car but with enough effort it can be placed into one. You would never want to do it just for the sake of doing it but there are a few 1g cars running around with evo8 ecus in them and when dsmlink first came out it only came out for 1st gens IIRC and so a number of 2g cars ran around with 1g ecus for a while.

For the record I might have the dsmlink situation backwards but the end result is that if you are willing to entirely rewire the section of the harness that heads to the ecu then it can be done.

well that would be to much work since we are still getting the car back on the road after its been sitting for the last 7 or 8 years. Waiting for school to get out then changing out the fuel pump.

If it isn't money don't be afraid of that job, the fuel pump is accessible from the top in these cars and can be done by someone who has never done it before in about 30 minutes. Someone with some experience could do it in 10.

Nope ended up picking a used one for 16 bucks to the door. Guy put a warranty on it. He went to a walboro pump. Its easy to do. I just finished a complete rebuild on my firebird. We already have the pump cover off. Just a matter or removing it and putting the new one in. Cheap fix for a year or two till we have the money to put into mods.

the harnesses are different completely. Plus 1g are obd1 cars not obd2
