so today on myway home from work, i hit black ice on storrow DR doing 55mph and lost control, did a 360 and hit the wall:cry:

DAMN! that sucks man.. at least your ok... your spyder was super clean too... are those the lancer GTS wheels?

Now is your time to go grab a GSX and throw your motor in it. Got any pictures from the front? I'm not saying the wreck DOESN'T look bad..but it doesn't look all that hard to fix. If the front end isn't pushed in, and the frame isn't damaged, that's just surface damage. Throw us some pictures from the front end, I'm curious to see how bad it is. If it ain't that bad, it CAN be fixed. IF it is that bad, just get a GSX with a blown motor, and throw your engine in. Either way, glad you aren't injured. Wrecks in general suck ass, especially in our beloved DSM's.

thanks, the frame is damaged, so im gonna take it apart
 
i'm sorry an i know how it feels i lost my 1g to a faulty rim, and it sucked. i still miss it all the time.. so what r ## plans for the car? partout, fix? u should get a 1g.
 
I would be bitter, but really it's just an unexpected change of plans. Hope it all works out for you in the long run. BTW, everyone above is right. I just watched the move The Final Destination, and yes, it could have been worse. Good luck.
 
Dang man that sucks...and your car looked so good. Im actually not a fan of the high rise spoilers on spyders but I have to say that it looked great on your car. At least your ok and you have a head start on your next project.
 
thanks guys, im gonna start taking it apart and sell it, but i guess its time to look for a nice gsx with low miles

That does suck. At first I saw sides I was like thats easy to fix then I saw the front nevermind. But, it is fixable if you really care about your car alot. But, look on the bright side just pick a cheap GSX and swap the parts into that car. Maybe a 95 since they came with EPROMS. If you don't got one.
