Hey guys just picked up a 1g awd laser. when i test drove it the blinkers blinked really quick, eh figured a bulb was out. Wrong. my pass tail light is UUUBER dim it almost acts like its on a delay from the drivers side, only one of my brake lights actually lights up properly, anyone know where a good place to start finding my shorting wire/ bad ground? i'll be the first to tell ya i dont know anything about dsms but i do know how an electrical system is supposed to work. i'll get some pics up when the son comes back out of some what looks to be spliced wires? i dunno if its factory or whaat.

A few things I would do. Switch the bulb with a new one and see if that alleviates the problem. If not check the wiring behind it. Then use a multimeter and check the voltage that it's receiving. It sounds like common sense , but maybe the outer lens is fogged up more than the other? Good luck.

Also, check all the grounds. Mine on my 2g were on the dim side. Re-did all my grounds for them and now there brighter than most other 2g's I've seen.

All right, already switched the bulbs and that didnt help. they're slow to come on, and i only have 10vdc there so i think i have a bad wire somwhere along the line. it would be nice to run some new wires for that along with somethin for an amp all at the same time.

97gst_spyder did you run a dedicated ground for each light or from the whole assembly?

One ground per assy. So one left and one right. I use the next thicker gauge wire also.

Awesome, well thanks guys i'll pull her in the shop this weekend.
