Im planning on piecing a turbo together for my 420A, you can only get so far with a NA. Right now im taking baby steps with a I/H/E set up. Before I start pieceing my turbo togehter I plan on gettin compression tests ran to make sure my engine is sound. I wanna know is running a turbo on a Automatic NA with stock internals with boost running about 6 or 7 psi safe for my trans and engine??? And if so where can I find a good manifold Ive heared people have problems with these cracking???

Its my daily driver im in college so I do alot of driving.

dont waste the $100+ taking your car to a shop and have a compression test done. go to autozone or any auto part store, pickup a compression tester/gauge and test it yourself. easy to do. disconnect coil. remove spark plug. disconnect injector. insert tool. crank about 4-5 times.

If thats your dailydriver and want it to be reliable, i dont think you should turbo it. It wasnt meant for the extra stress and just like 4g63s, you can see the turbo 4gs and na 4gs use different parts like different compression pistons for example for a turbo setup or na setup.
