Ok, so basically I took a bet to get pepper sprayed, and I'm getting sprayed Wednesday. I'm making some sick dime from this, but I just wanted to know if distilled water would be the fastest relief?

And yes, I know this is really dumb, but without pain, how can we be certain we are alive :thumb:

Uhmmm...no thank you. I was actually being serious, this shit will hurt.

Oatmeal? LOL wow...I heard whole milk, but I mean really, do I want to douse my whole head in milk?

Get some Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo and wash your face, or wherever you are getting sprayed with it. You can get it in your eyes too and the shampoo wont burn them because its for babies.

Good idea, my friend suggested this. :thumb:

Did someone find out that you were pimping their car as yours on the interweb again? You sure it was a bet?

me and my friend got sprayed, let me tell you it hurt like crazy. You'll go temporarily blind, you will be gasping for air, you'll be cursing, and wherever the chemical comes in contact with skin will be red to deep purple and will burn like acid. My friend had to go to the hospital.

You probably don't want to do this, but if you do I'd recommend have plenty of water available with an eye flush type container prepared. (a hose for up to 30 minutes of constant flushing) They say the pepper spray is like an oil an penetrates the skin so -maybe- if you treat your skin (face, neck, chest, arms) with a few coats of vaseline before the spray you might repel the spray, and maybe your friend wont notice you put some on?

Oh yeah one more thing, some of the spray hit a window behind us, and after I went to wash the window and plain water wouldn't clean the surface, I think my landlord had to use oven cleaner or something.

heh good luck man

Uhm...I did not think it would be this bad. He had to go to the hospital? That's not good! I'm actually making $100 but I'm thinking about changing my mind after hearing this...

And PIMking, you're such a hard ass, and no this isn't sarcasm.

I've gotten that and CS Gas and my honest opinion is the spray sucks more only because it sticks to you and you physically have to wash it off. Id say just use a lot of water and you'll be fine.....afterwards you'll say youd never do it again, but it wont be as bad after its all said and done.

I like spicy food and fried banana peppers are good but not hot. Soooooo I decided to fry some habenero's. This litteraly made a tear gas-like steam or something that ran the family and myself out of the house.
Nothing can save you, even if it only burns for a few seconds you'll never forget it.
BTW make a video and post it so we can all have a laugh at your expense, good luck!

There are many many different types. The only way to stop the burn is to not do it. This stuff is designed so that you can not stop the burning, or what would be the point. I've been gassed/sprayed to the point where it does not have much affect on me at all, my eyes get red and depending on the substance they may water.

The key really is to overcome the affects, you must take off the functions that your body will normally do on their own and manually do them. IE, break, see, stay calm.

You have to post a video, nothing like laughing. If you guys have some time do a search on people eating the Naga Jolokia pepper. I laugh till I cry when I see them. It has a Scoville rating at almost 1.1million. To put that in perspective the hottest Habenaro Chilli Pepper is 350k.

DO NOT USE ANY KIND OF SOAP! JUST USE COLD WATER!
Cold water, cold water, and more cold water. I have been sprayed and it is not plesant, but you will be OK. Just have a buddy that you trust ready to lead to to a cold shower or like mentioned above a hose. Do not use soap or anything else because it will trap the spay against your skin and that is how you get burns. I use this stuff on a regular basis and have to supervise treatment as well. Trust me.
Water, water, water and in about 20-30 mins you will be OK.

Opps, just noticed I forgot to tell how you how to help the burn stop.

1st NEVER EVER TOUCH YOUR FACE
2nd FLUSH WITH COLD WATER
-if you use hot water it will open your pores and do more damage
3rd USE NOTHING BUT WATER
4th NEVER TOUCH FACE
5th NEVER TOUCH FACE
6th NEVER TOUCH FACE

-get the point?

I got the overspray of bear-mace. It's similar to pepper spray, except it's more potent. Just the overspray alone had the right side of my face, my right eye and right arm in a burning state for 3+ days. Needless to say, if you actually go through with this... you're an idiot. The ball's in your court. $100 is peanuts compared to the pain you'll be in.

I will post a video don't worry. I'm doing it tomorrow at 5 so expect a video tomorrow night.

I'm going to use cold water like everyone is suggesting, there's a fire station near where I work, and the guy said to use Coca-Cola as the acid in it will help break down the OC and oils.

Enjoy the burn i will.

Don't worry I'm sure I will...When I'm putting that money towards my new interior. :sneaky:

I hope everyone gets a kick out of my pain, my friends were fighting over who gets to spray me with it...:|
