Inconsistent Clutch

I installed a Fidanza 3.2 clutch, and a member from here helped me install it. We did not bleed the clutch because when he took out the slave cylinder in a "certain way" he said we did not have to. Anyways, the clutch pedal and engagement is always changing. In the mornings i barely have to let off the clutch and it engages. But after it warms up its around the middle of the pedal. Also, a few days ago, i noticed my clutch pedal sticking to the floor a few times. Anyone know what could be the problem? Do i just need to bleed the clutch?

Sounds like an issue of not bleeding the clutch for sure?

Way to assume the worst!!!!!! No he's thinking of something totally different! Bleed the clutch and let us know what happens.

man...i've had this same problem for more than a year now. I had my clutch installed by a shop...

so all that we need to do is bleed the clutch and my changing position deal will be gone!?

Yes. But when you took out the slave cylinder how did he put it back, because that will cause inconsistent clutch response and rough gear changing. Check your slave cylinder as well and see if it needs replacing or just an adjustment of the slave cylinder.

Start with the cheap stuff. Bleed the clutch, and make sure you have the clutch pedal assembly adjusted for the full throw so you don't get the pedal pump-up issues. How is the fluid level?

Got it, i dont think its a slave or master cylinder. They were just replaced about 17k ago.

your experiencing the famous 2g "pump up" you need to properly adjust the master cylinder so that you get more freeplay at the top of the pedal travel

and do i just do that by adjusting the rod behind the clutch pedal? by loosening the nut and rotating the rod?

and by freeplay what do you mean? That it should be loose at the top of the pedal?

you gotta go for the upper adjuster next to it

so im confused as to how to properly adjust the two rods. And when to know if it is right or not. Any help?
