really thinking about coming down have to put the turbo back on the car * dont ask* so it's still a maybe....that 6hr drive is a biotch!

OK, drive here, sleep over night, (we have an extra room) and then drive down the rest of the way with us.
BTW...I'm have an answer for every excuse.

I want to see some fast dsm's there this year. Wasn't many dsm's at all last year.

My brother and I might be there on Sunday. It's been on my calendar since you first mentioned it Sandra and nothing else has popped up.

so will other countries be involved or is this one of those events done by Americans and called world cup or series.

...other countries.....anyone who wants to ship there import or domestic over here from across the oceans is more then welcome!

Anyone is welcome. I know that there will be some Canadian cars there.

What an event, it was awesome So impressed with the honda's, some of the fastest honda's i have ever seen. Not One Dsm did good out of the 4 that entered, wasn't happy about that. I will defently have the talon ready for next year, for this event. Spun a rod bearing and leaky rad, kept me from running this year, so better luck next year.

I went on Sat. Told my wife I was going, she said she wanted to come. We get there at a 10:45 and she tells me she has to work at 2 PM. I'm all ? So we had to leave at 1 PM since we leave about an hour away. Waste of $40, plus $25 gas and another $20 for food. $85 for only 3 hours of watching 18 second Civics... I was PO'ed at the wife for insisting on coming. I could've spent that money on a part.

What? Their was civics there that was faster then almost all the DSM's on this site!! Dont diss the civic guys, their the same as us, just different cars!!

Not for the first 3 hours on Saturday.

The good action is always on Sunday during eliminations. I think one of the civic hatchbacks ran a high 8! Great weather and some really fast cars...non-dsm cars that is.

It was an awesome event, I had a great time.

Three SFWD style Honda's went high 8's. Felix Medina, Chris Miller and Jonathan Reynolds all dipped into the 8's this weekend. I believe Chris Miller as the fastest at 8.76.

i was super surprised at all the fast civics. but of the 4 dsm that raced i was disappointed. boost boyz seemed like they were doin good till their last run...

That last pass was bitter sweet. It was good to know that the motor was doing what it was supposed to do (a thanks goes out the Ehren @ NRG Tech), but it was dissapointing that the axle didn't hold up so we could see what she really wanted to do. But there's always next weekend. So lets say it was 1 step backward and 2 steps forward.

Does your laser always sound like that. It sounded more like a subaru than an mitsu when i heard it run. I was wandering if it was something to do with the new engine you guys got in the night before? I only got to see one pass you guys made and you let off really early. What was your best run that day?
