If its legit congrats. You have a better chance of getting hit by lightning nine times in one day than hitting the US power ball. I always thought that was a funny fact. One million bucks is not much by todays standards but if invested correctly it can allow you to live semi comfortable for a while. I wear a large and I have a 1g, I like black LOL ROFL :thumb:. When you contact them they will prob ask for like 500 bones in order to "claim the prize". I bet you anything its a scam.

Scam. My friend got the same email. They ask for your Social Number and alot of personal information.

i won this several times along with the uk lotto about 5 times too... but i keep forgetting to claim it... silly me!

Geez guys, that's what you get for responding to those craigslist posts for $3000 99 GSXs with 49,000 miles.:aha::tease:
See how that works?
BTW: I'll take a Murderface (from Metalocolypse) T shirt, if that's allowed. 'William DSM Murderface' is the proper name of my new rattle-canned, murdered-out POS 92 GST.:hellyeah:

What are you trying to say? I payed for that car yesterday. Sent him a money order and car will be here Friday. I'll post pics when it arrives. :rocks:

ha big scam, i got a check in the mail for $500,000 looks real, looks legit took it to the bank and almost got arrested, that teaches me not to get giggly about things to come.

I got an email saying that some lady in Europe had a wealthy husband that died and shes going to send me some money to the sum of 1,000,000,000usd. That little guy at the end "usd" is kind of humerus to me. But they want some personal information first.......Yup and delete.

I just think its sad that there's people out there actually falling for these things.

Love how he wants to respond to a Reverand lke thats supposed to make me feel safer.

My wife got something like that, only 120,000usd. Said her receipt was drawn from one of 5 stores and Wal-Mart was the only store we recognized. Funny thing is towards the bottom where you usually find a disclaimer it says something like "Don't tell anyone you recieved this, to calim your price call so-and-so at (some international #)" This letter had a bogus looking check for $3,500 and the envelope had like 5 different stamps on it, didn't look professional at all.

I had a 94 Accord on craigslist. For some reason I thought I could sell it for $3K at first. It had 200,000 miles on it. One of my first replies was from some "lady". She was an "executive for a major oil corporation in France". "She" wanted to buy the car for her son's birthday present. "He is in Africa working for the UN food relief organization". So, some rich-ass oil-executive in France wants to buy a 15-year-old Honda Accord, sight-unseen, in central North America, and ship it to Africa?WTF
The emails went back-and-forth for a while before all of those details came out. She just needed my bank account numbers and SS# etc... for her attorneys to complete the escrow work and such and arrange shipping! After I stopped replying, the emails kept coming , and the tone even started getting pushy/bitchy!
Finally sold that car for 2 grand, to real flesh-andblood American.:sneaky:

LOL. I think alot of us have "won" stuff like this. I've won the Aussie lotto at least 4 times, the UK 2 times, and the newest is the Microsoft lotto. So if you go by the emails, i'm a multi millionare. But the reality is I'm unemployed, have very little money, and live in something similar to government housing. Go Figure!!!! It's a SCAM people. RUN!!!!

Just got this in my yahoo email today. Passing it on. This is a SCAM. Use your heads boys and girls. Message is as follows:

"Barrister Henry Hill" <[email protected]>Add sender to ContactsTo: undisclosed-recipientsAttention,

I am Barrister Henyr Hill,i have a vital information about an unclaimed fund under my custody, get back to me with your complete data if interested, as i shall provide to you all necessary claim documents of this fund.

i always get some email saying that a rich relative in some type of third world country wants to give me a big fat check
when they ask for my information I tell them if I had a relative that wanted to give me cash that they would know my information
but its always the same email except with a different country and amount

I think the deal that "Captain Bentwood" offered to me is better:

Dear: My name

Thanks for your email, i must be honest to you, it seems you are a
sincere person I want to inform you that I will buy your Car at
your price.

But I have a business proposal for you.

I am a captain with the United Nations troop in Iraq, on war against
terrorism. Find attach copy of my pictures in Iraq. Based on the
United States legislative and executive decision for withdrawing
troops from Iraq come this October 2009, I have been deployed to come
and work in your country's military base soonest. Our mission is to
help beef up terrorist targeted states, mostly the United States and
the European Union on the war against terrorism. I will need a Car for
myself and that is why I contacted you. On the other hand I want to
inform you that I have in my possession the sum of 18.3 million USD,
Which I got from crude oil deal here in Iraq.

I deposited this money with a Red Cross agent informing him that we
are making contact for the real owner of the money. It is under my
power to approve whoever comes forth for this money. I want to invest
the money in your country as soon as I am deployed into your country
for a good business, anyway you will advice me on that since I am not
a business person.

I cannot move this money to the United States or another country
because I am uniformed personnel, so I need someone I could trust. If
you accept, I will transfer the money to you where you will be the
beneficiary because I am a uniformed person and I cannot be parading
such an amount so I need to present someone as the beneficiary.
I am an Israeli and an intelligence officer for that so I have a 100%
authentic means of transferring the money through diplomatic courier
service .I just need your acceptance and all is done.

Please if you are interested in this transaction I will give to you
the complete details you need for this transaction successfully. I
decided to find someone that is real and not imaginary and that is why
I went to a secured Car Dealers site where I can be sure that the
person is real. I believe I can trust you and also cover the Car for
me.

Where we are now we can only communicate through our military
communication facilities which are secured so nobody can monitor our
emails, then I can explain in details to you. I will only reach you
through email, because our calls might be monitored, I just have to be
sure whom I am dealing with. If you are interested please send me your
personal mobile number so I can call you for further enquiries when I
am out of our military network. I am writing from a fresh email
account so if you are not interested do not reply to this email and
please delete this message, if no response after 3days I will then
search for someone else.

I wait for your contact details so we can go on. In less than 7days
the money should have been noted on your account and I will come over
for my money.

I will give to you 30% of the sum and 70% is for me. I hope I am been
fair on this deal. Get back to me with your full information:
