alright guys, I've been working on changing my convertible top tonight. I would have it off ALMOST, if I hadn't broke my drill bit drilling out the 2nd side tension cable. but my problem, other than that, is how do you get that rear bow pulled up and out(that's got the end of the top attached to it, and the rubber catch bag)? when I get it close to popping out, it feels like its starting to pull on the bag and I don't wanna rip that...is there anything I'm missing?

ya, I have read that already, but it didn't have any info I need...thanks though....anyone have any other ideas if I'm missing anything when I'm trying to lift this rear bow out so that I can pull the staples out of the back of the top to get it off the rest of the way??

so I got it out with the help of a buddy who just happened to stop by at the right time. now I just need to put it on and call it good!! wish me luck!

alright, so I ran into another problem...the glass seems to be to big on my replacement top!! I have an ez-on top, and there's a line that goes across the back end of it, where it staples to the rear bow...I lined that up to the top like its said it's suppose to be, and then stapled the fabric in....now my problem is, the glass seems to be to big...when I put the top up and down, the glass catches on the top of the cross brace that's right behind the back seat...If I take it all apart, and move the staples up an inch or two(move the whole top back an inch or two), should this fix it?

I measure the height of the glass on my factory top, and I measured the height on the aftermarket top(the actual height of the glass, including the glass that is inside the fabric, not just the stuff that you can see), and the aftermarket top is about an inch higher...14 1/2 inches versus 13 1/2 inches on the factory top...will that one inch make that big of difference?

alright, so I had horrible luck with this EZ-On top...it's going back to the manufacturer. all these issues with it, and now I have it so the top will barely go into the rear catch bag behind the rear seat like it's suppose to, but it makes the top so tight that I can NOT get the top closed....now I have to wait till monday to get ahold of the shop that I ordered it from and hope that it is returnable, because this has to be a defect.

has anyone else had issues with these tops? everything I'd read from other people said that it was a good top company...I'm thinking not, unless I just got shitty luck, or I really messed the install up, which seems pretty straight forward. What does everyone think a shop would charge to install a top if I end up getting another top shipped to me?
