Ok I have had a boost leak for a while now, to the point when it is COLD i hear a high pitched whining, typical of a boost leak right? Anway I was tightening all my intercooler t clamps, and decided to go out to see if it helped, peformance seemed alot better , and when i got back i noticed that if i noticed that if i put my finger over the biss it sucks it in, and leaves an impression on my finger, could this also be a source of my leak...

I am really hoping this is, I will feel alot better knowing if it is or isnt..

anyone please.

thanks , cory

Is the BISS still in place? Put a glob of RTV over it - this will hold the screw in place, plug any leaks around it, and is easily removable to adjust the BISS.

The proper fix would be to replace the o-ring, but RTV on top of the BISS will work fine.

Locke, thank you. When I first bought my car, it had that blob on the throttle body and I always wondered WTF, am I missing something. It explains so much why it's there.
