Turbo AWD Automatic. Well long story short I bought this car and got a ton of extra parts with it. The headgasket decided to go out on me within 2 days of buying it to the point it wouldnt crank. So now Im getting ready to start working on it. The only thing with it right now is that Ive got a spare 6 bolt block that I would like to build before I rip the car down but the guy that sold me the car only had one main cap for it. I could get some more main caps for free from a friend but I still havent priced getting it line bored.

Mods when I got the car:
walboro 255, 2g manifold and o2 ported, small 16g

Left over stuff from parting out my neon:
Adjustable FPR, AEM wideband, 30/30 phantom boost gauge, gunmetal slipstreams

So far I have purchased:
Front mount with piping, 3in gm maf, mbc, wiseco/manley stroke combo, arp head studs, MLS headgasket

Up next:
2.4 crank, dsmlink v3, 1200cc injectors, BC cams, hughes stall

Then later on Im going to go with a bigger turbo as soon as I have the cash for it.

Thats my 11.40 neon in the background.

Yea I was wondering about that, my friend said they got it done for $400 and the guy at the trans shop that is sending it out said they quoted him for $600, I havent paid anything yet though, just dropped it off. How did you handle the situation?

I didnt flip out or anything, I just politely stood my ground and told them I was quoted 4xx, and I wasnt giving them 600 bucks. They backed down fairly easily. I dont know if its honest mistakes, or them trying to sqeeze some more dough from "kids".

Yea I called to get a quote and they said they didnt do them for fwd or awd cars, so, I'm having to go through the transmission shop to get it. Anyway thats the last thing Im waiting on then its all wiring and vacuum lines.

Getting ready to order a sheet metal manifold probably. Also in the process of pulling the ABS off the car. New brake lines and motor should be going in Saturday if everything stays on course. The its a waiting game for parts.

motors in, Im waiting on the magnus manifold and the tq converter to get here

Then when I get paid I have to get the injectors and a 5 bar map.

between dsm and srt-4 parts its a little cluttered in that bay but the other one with the lift has plenty of room

motor and trans are in, put the driveshaft and exhaust on today, hopefully finish up the wiring and get it cranked tommorow

Also picked up a 62-1 thats going on the car when the 16g gives up on me, already have a wastegate so I need to pick up a manifold and oil lines for it.

yea, wasnt getting enough fuel with the uncoroperative dsmlink so I put the stock computer and injectors in and it runs, and moves under its own power, couple leaks, and other bugs but it runs

do you know if all the 1g turbo awd have the same rearend? i have an automatic drivetrain from a parts car i want to sell but im not sure if they are the same....

I think only the 92's had the 4 bolt

Got it running after I reset the used link back to default. Gotta put the adjustable reg on and fix a couple leaks.

put the adjustable reg and walboro 255 in and the injectors arent firing

fail

Ok everything is running for the most part. I got in my tubular manifold last week so the 62-1 will be going on it when the weather warms up (this weekend probably) then the guys for Weir Automotive Racing are going to fab me up a o2 housing. Lastly Johntsi is going to help me tune it with the V3. Hoping for 10's on pump and street tires.
