this thread seems like a fail.

But I found this green talon on google. From the flickr profile I read, it only has 35K miles on it and was converted from FWD to AWD. Its a really sick lookin car. Wondering if its as nice in person as it looks in photo?

NOW PRESENTING!!!! BOOGER GREEEEEEEEEEN!

Wow that first shot is incredible, the car seems to glow and awesome photography.
While not a popular color it certainly is an attention getter....

I like it and thanks for posting. I also knew that there was not going to be a lot of posts for these colors as they are few and far between.

This is a factory 1996 Mitsubishi Dealer Press kit photo. These were given to the news media for new model introductions.

I really like this one, while not Blue pearl, it is still uncommon seeing the electric Blue metallic. I have a couple other shots of this car from the Norwalk shoot out. Looks great especially with those wheels.

Thanks! Shes my first DSM been waiting for a while to get one, hard to find a nice non ricer non modded DSM. Shes all original

The trend is changing somewhat and more and more are seeking out examples much like yours and they are becoming harder and harder to find. I am sure she has found a good home.

1996 TSi AWD Automatic
This is one I recently picked up in a package deal with a 95 TSi & ton of parts.

It will be a keeper and restored back to it original glory, it hasn't been modded, but the front fascia was damaged at one time and the front clip resprayed, poorly, and clear coat blows off in the wind. It won't take much but respraying the front clip & faded skirts & spoiler properly and a good cleaning and detailing with some OEM NOS underhood parts. And 2G swirlies.

I've actually seen a gs-t with the barney color and it's really not bad! its definitely different looking, but not terrible or anything.

Very true! But when they begin to peel and fade they look horrid. But when new or freshly refinished the way it changes colors from different angles and sunlight makes it very unique.

It is not a color everyone likes, which is why it is rare to begin with. IMO the Talons with the black roof doesn't quite mix well vs the Eclipse with all one body color in this case.:thumb:
