help with maf sensor of my dsm 1g n\t

hello ther .
i got some problem with my dsm .. when i drive dayli...the temp engine go to middle fast and stuck ther . and after that when i stop in red light . and the fan will start . the car go 500 idle RPM or less and all times wanna - shut down the engine .
some friend told me its mybe the maf sensor do the problem here and hes too old or somtihnk like that and i need to replace him to another one - new . .. but i dont know what sensor its can be fit and what car are same like my dsm .. lancer and more.. and what model ...

Hard to understand the post. But does the car overheat? Is it hard to start? Does it have idle surge?

Usually a bad MAS won't cause any type of temperature issue. Usually it will affect the idle.

Your engine fan is supposed to turn on at idle to help move air through the radiator while the car isn't in motion.

You could try to adjust your BISS. It's the little screw on the throttle body sometimes under a rubber cap. What's the idle at usually when the fan isn't on? 500rpm isn't super low but you usually want to try and get about 700-800rpm.
 
i dont know exsacly what is the problem so some friend told me its mybe that or that ..
but i have to say .. the thermostat mybe stuck or somthink like that so the temp go high and the idle speed get crazy .. and wanna to shut down .

and.. i was have muffler and i got lot of back-fire's .. its going "lean" no ?! ..i dont know the exsacly word of that sry :\
and after long time with the muffler the manifold got crack . and i fix it . and now the temp problem coming ..

so that all i know for now..

had the same problem.. You need to block the air flow from the radiator hitting your maf... either get a custom intake or block the air with some sheet metal... Maf is reading air temperatures of probably 200 degrees ( 200 is normal operating temp and your radiator is usally in that range)

yea i will try to put the orginal filter and to chak that . cus the orginal have the sheet .

yes i think about that too .. but first i need buy a coolent water green or red what a matter and clean all the system and put a new water .. cus i have now regilar water so its sucks i know :toobad: :ohdamn:
and the next level is to find a termostat here or buy from ebay cus i dont have many parts over here to dsm .

ok . so today i was Return the orginal filter with the orginal sheet .
and i test the engine put it work like 10 min with fan work and without .. and i didnt see low idle speed .
and i take the car drive to highway ..and stop somwhere .. and hes didnt do some wierd problem .
but the temp still middle on the icon of the temp .
and the speed idle didnt low .. its 800RPM or 1K RPM .

So the next level i need to change the water and the radiator cap ..


but what do u say about this today guys :)
 
So what exactly is your problem than? If your temp gauge shows that the needle is in the middle that you should be good. That is what you want it to be at. I guess I misunderstood your problem
