I was wondering if id be aloud to make some DSMtuners.com business cards. Reason i am asking is that id like to try to get some more DSM owners involved in this great community. Like when i see another DSM, i just think to myself, "Man. They have no idea what they are missing." Its almost like i feel that ever DSM ower should be apart of DSMtuners. I saw this nice 96 Talon with a big front mount today. Ive talked to him before, and actually his girl drives it. If i had a card, i woulda handed it to him. But yea, id like to know from some Wisemen and to hear everyone elses thoughts on this and maybe doing this yourself.

Thats a good idea, you could even just leave the card on the window wedged between the glass and weather strip on the door. Even if they are a member on here, it might be a way to meet more people locally.

Yea. There are alot of DSM's around here but the nearest members from here are a quite a distance away. Like the closest being like 45 mins from me and the other a good hour and a half. I like your idea of tucking a card in the weatherstrip or windshield wiper in case they arent near their car.

I would think it would be fine - but some people may not like the idea of you touching there car.
Im sure Chris would be the authority on the subject.

Don't steal MORE graphics from the site and you'll be fine. Ever dump those t-shirts?

Idea: PLAIN WHITE CARD with the text DSMtuners

I gotta better idea, just buy a window marker and write DSMTUNERS.COM on their front windshield :D

Maybe just put a decal on your car, or say "hey man, check out dsmtuners.com".. I got a weird look one time from dsm guys when I said I go to this site. They said there's a lot of mis-information on here, and I agree but you gotta search and compare ideas and concepts and understand them before you start a project. I tried to explain this site is overall a good thing but you can't teach an old dog new tricks I guess.

Or how 'bout one that just says DSMtuners.com... oh wait they make those right here on this site, how convenient ;)

so what about t-shirts? who did what?

It wasnt me that posted that. My friend, got on my name and posted it on here. He wanted to make T- Shirts for my dirt team. I let him use my account back a long time ago to view a vid in the hangout or whatever. Then he decided to make a T- SHirt and advertise on here. I didnt talk to him for days after i found out. Pissed me off so ####in bad. But yea about the noobs. Thats why you dont just hand a card to a kid with a 2G 420A with a body kit and has NOS stickers on it. You hand the cards out to some guys or gals with nice, clean looking DSM's.

They do it all the time on campus here, thousands of cars. I ever see them around my car when they're doing doing it I'm going to tell them to fvck off. Then again if it was a single person doing it selectively I wouldn't give a shit. just like if somebody hit my car I'd like a note, hell if someone likes my car thats cool too.

I received a little letter wedged it my sunroom that read, " I see you and your car around here alot and think your cute. My cell is bla bla bla. " I never called.

Couldnt hide much from my Girl Friend then. She lived with me for the past 2 years but now lives back at home since its about 45 mins closer to her work. I think i know who the chick is though. She drives a nice Cavi. I see her alot and she always waves and starts blushing. Shes definitly bangable. Like...very.

Yeah, I was picking up my brother from work and this white 2g gst caught my eyes. I was damn, nice car... would of liked to chat with him but it would of been easier to find out bout his car on here, OR I can ask him out for a date..:barf:

Make that ####y whistle.

Today after work, i was heading to Advance and got into town and this very nice black 2G Eclipse was going to opposite dirction. I waved and didnt see him wave back. After i went to advance, i seen him again. This time, he put his arm out and waved as he was heading into the car wash area. I think it was a NA because there was no front mount. But, maybe it had a side mount. I doubt it was a Turbo though because he had invested in wheels, beautiful paint, and a nice clean not over-done body kit. So you would think hed be able to afford a front mount.

Some people think they're just better than you and me. Anyone who gives you that crap isn't worth having around here anyway. They probably won't make the effort to contribute helpful info for other DSM community - just their little clique. And anyone who tells you another DSM site close to this size doesn't suffer from the same issues is smoking crack. DSMs just happen to have younger owners on average, which adds to the problem. We work hard to keep the misinformation to a minimum. But there will always be critics no matter what.

As for the cards, I think most DSMers that get online already know about this site. Whether or not they participate, well, that's another story. Best thing you can do is throw on some decals, sport a shirt, or just share your positive experiences about the site with others in a conversation.

Not to mention these people probably overlook the Tech Article Archives Which are rarely misinforming (if at all)
