Today was the first time I took the talon out to the track, I finally got a boost gauge and MBC so I upped the boost to 15 psi. On the way to the track I encountered a teal civic hatch, we went for it and I instantly pulled like 8 lenghts on him, later on we found out that he had a japanese GSR swap. So I enter the track and since they just had opened there were barely any cars there so I went alone.
My first run I did a [email protected] with a 2.082 60 and a reaction time of 0.732
Second and best run of the day was against a 5.0 mustang foxbody. I ran a [email protected] mph with a 1.648 60 and a reaction time of 0.879.
The rest of the day I ran high 8´s low 9´s and my worst run was [email protected] 2.289 60 and a reaction time of 0.951.
Most excting run was against a fellow DSMer. He has a 90 talon with a 16g turbine housing and a 20g wheel. 272/272 cams, 950cc injectors, DSMchip, and some other supporting mods. He was running 20psi due to a wastegate malfunction. He always runs 27-29psi.
First run against him I ran a [email protected] 2.033 60 VS his [email protected] with a 2.116 60.
Second run I missed 2nd gear and I ran a 9.614@64 wih a 2.120 60 VS his [email protected] and a 60 of 1.986
I only lost to him and a gutted CRX running nitrous.
I beat a bunch of hondas, an old school monte carlo and I was about to run against on of the new STI´s but the dumbass broke his axles trying to burnout....
My only mods are 2g maf, hks blow off valve, FMIC, Megan turbo back, evo3 16g, 255 fuel pump and 15 pounds of boost not bad huh?
