I am going to Vegas this week and was wondering whats cool to do for automotive type things. I was going to do the drive an F-1 car for 6 laps, but its sold out. I guess Shelby is up there and I'll go check that out. If anyone else knows something cool post it up.

There's nothing to do in Vegas. That's why no one ever goes there. Oh, look everyone. The Stupid Bus crashed and this fell out.

Are you on the strip or in old town? Old town has the Freemont Experience. Its THE biggest TV screen on the planet. At night they shut off the entire strips' lights and play music videos, its pretty cool.

Once you run out of money you could listen to a timeshare presentation to get reduced priced tickets to shows or vouchers for slot play. Usually located somewhere in the lobby of your hotel. They are fun people to mess with, just don't EVER say yes.

If you like medieval stuff Excalibur's Tournament of Kings is cool.

Penn and Teller's show at the Rio is AWESOME!

DO NOT see Chris Angel's show Believe. HORRIBLE!

I'd look over the official Vegas website and plan before you leave to maximize your trips fun factor.

strip clubs and dance clubs are the ONLY point of going to vegas.

I went there a long time ago I do like roller coasters so all the rides were pretty cool

Casino Royal (across from Mirage/TI) has Michelobs and margaritas for $1.00

For an automotive type thing, they have a big car museum at the Imperial Palace. For real vegas fun, cocaine and hookers

I've done all the other stuff before, I thought there might be some cool stuff lke the shelby building etc.
I have not seen the Imperial Palace thing, so I will check that out. i wanted to do this Mario Andretti Racing Experience.com but they are not scheduled this week. The other one is for the Nascar Richard Petty Driving Experience - NASCAR Racing Experience On Tracks Nationwide but I am not paying 450.00 for a couple laps
to run a buck-fifty. They should cut their price in half, if it was a cart racer I would pay the price.

word... I was there back in may for a fight, and thats about all i did.

First of all if your asking what to do in vegas something is wrong with you. Its a non stop party. Every Hotel has crazy shit to look at The Rio has the best lunch/dinner buffet and Terrible's Casino (off the strip, make a left on Tropicana if i remember correctly) has $9 breakfast buffet. Encore has a badass club call Myst has a huge waterfall and you can see the sky. Second, prostitutes are ILLEGAL in the city of Las Vegas, you need to go outside the city limits...by why would you want to bang a hooker. Alcohol is the great equalizer just pick up chick at the clubs.

Honestly I live here and hate it. I have been here off and on for 4 years, and only found that the only automotive fun to be had is the midnight mayhem at the drag strip. Mind you i have not gone this year because of 2 reasons: 1 I work at night (at a hotel almost on the strip) and 2: my car needs registration and smog. so if your over 21 hit up clubs, bars and strip joints!

Put off the trip until October and see all the Barrett Jackson cars. Plus do all the stuff listed above.
