anybody ever put a 420a head on an SRT4 bottom end, i have a buddy with a 99 RS and he swears it will work. that would be some kind of Frankenstein motor combo.

Not sure where you're getting the 20% more tq... Please explain.
there is an advantage to running the 420a head on an srt-4. plenty of room for a large turbo setup, since it will be located in front of the motor, as opposed to behind it (between the engine and firewall). manifolds should be available, but there will be custom fabbing.

i know, that's what i meant. we're on the same page.
I do think there is more room between the motor and the firewall on an eclipse than a neon though.
NOt sure how well they'd swap into a DSM body, but there's 3 neons that i know of around here already running SRT-4 complete swaps... one is in the old school neon, from what i hear it screams!
