ChiTownDSM.com (WTF?!)

Is there anyone on here that is also on ChiTownDSM.com that can help me out? I want to register but I cant because I have a free email address and ive contacted them twice about getting registered but they wont email me back. Ive tried logging in with the username and password i requested but it doesnt work. idk what to do, I just want to be part of the fun too LOL

Same thing happened to me. I've never experienced being denied access to a website because you have a gmail address.

Try allowing BS email addresses and hold on when the slew of spambots, spammers, scammers, etc get on and go at it.

Hell, it even took my legit email address like 3 months just to get approved. I lost interest in the site by that time and haven't made it back on...

Well that's too bad and I apologize for that but I have a hard time believing it took 3 months to get activated. I get a lot of PM's regarding the private email situation but trust me this is in your best interest.

As far as the wait time to be approved, I am another Mod on the forum and we are discussing this right now.

I even PMed a mod. Come on now!

TwistedDrum5 is my sn on there. I even used an ARMY email.

Well it sucks that this many people are having this problem and atleast they know about it now. but yeah it would be cool to talk to more people in my area that have a dsm. I actually just picked up the gsx i have now off of someone on ChiTownDSM.com. i think he is a mod, name is jorge (4u2nv) i think he said his name was on there.

I know right...I'm so damm close to Illinois, and I see dsm's all over the place it seems...Then I want to get online and find who the hell that was, and I can't...Because I have free email...

MWIR.net has some dsmers on it. I've been on there lately.

Please post up what SN's and Emails aren't getting activated and we will take care of it, or at least give you a reason for the lag time.

Oh and I realize the free emails are convenient but we have had problems with repeat offending scammers and spammers. Part of the activation process involves our Admin making sure these names do not resurface on our website.

I'm registered on at least 20+ forums, some small, some large.. and none of them require private email address or have spam problems. I'm looking to buy a DSM and it just makes it a pain not being able to look through the site.
