Don't use that balance shaft stub. It doesn't have the oiling groove machined in it and will fail fairly quickly. Otherwise the build looks like it's coming along nicely.

Looks like it has a slight recess in the middle. I just used a cut off bal shaft, threaded the rest of the way and a bolt from the back end. Worked great, but wont need either anymore..... ;)

Just a few questions. Why did you spray paint your blcok?Even the hi temp stuff burns off and looks like crap...powdercoat or ceramic coat ftw.
Also, WTF does your wrist tattoo say?Lol Also, what kind of head gasket is that?
You need a garage man!:D

Looking good! I think you should of done a different color than blue, but hey, everyone has their own taste.

I like the Ford Blue he chose!! It will add 20hp just for that!! LOL :D
is this a true 6 bolt build? of a 1g 6bolt short block with the 2g head?

Also did you have the bottom end spun balanced?

ya i no the paint burns off but i was bored and had spray paint laying around LOL. my wrist tattoo says " Lynn Sin City " its a known saying here mostly they say lynn lynn city of sin never come out the way you went in. LOL and the head gasket is a MLS HG. and yes i do need a garage haha. i run a shop but were expanding so its to cluttered right now,

looks good... cut the flange off the tb elbow thing.
keeps it the same size. have someone weld the pipe on so it doesnt restrict.

Nice. Must be Federal Mogul. They make pretty good parts, but I would still go with the Clevites'.

If you sprayed it right, it will work fine. Did you use primer?

I sprayed mine with high temp black and it still looks nice. Althought my gt35r isn't large enough to get it hot I suppose.
