thanks for the input on the 20g, but if i was gun-ho for all out power, I'd probably just step-up to the FP32/ PTE60-1 or something along thouse lines. right now goal is to make it run LOL (is't that the point with these cars??) I'll be using the 14b to break in the motor just to be on the safe side, and if it doest take it out great, i'll clean it up , maybe rebuild it and sell it or something.

I did't have alot of seat time with the Evo3 i had, 400miles before everything went south, now im getting very close to being able to drive it once more, though of just giving up but I'm attached to this , this awd terror of mine.

BTW, does anyone know how to setup the Greddy Profec 2 boost controler? I have the manual but would like someone to explain it a bit better then what im reading LOL

thats a good question looks like a mod merged my thred with yours...WTF

can somebody explain how this would work? SFMU and larger injectors for a fuel setup. I was planing on using a 12:1 FMU but now I want a real setup. What all do I need to use/tune the super f.m.u. and injectors?

An SFMU isn't a real fuel setup, as it functions on the same principles as a conventional FMU., but is definitely better than a 12:1 FMU.

With the SFMU, you change disks and springs to alter it's rise and rate, and a screw to adjust idle fuel pressure. With the larger injectors, you can obviously flow more fuel, but will flow too much at 12:1. With the aide of a wideband, you work your spring and disk combination until you are happy with the AFR's on those injectors and boost setting. The FP will need to be lowered with larger injectors to function properly below boost.

did you solder that board yourself?

are you able to go into details regarding you motor and the srt-4 shit?

do you have pictures of the engine?

the block is a little taller, the crank sensor is on a different cylinder so you gotta rewire the injectors, plugs and rotate the sensors, you use the 2gnt head, you gotta rotate the pistons 180. do some searching, its all out there man. alain has a shit load of posts about the 2.4L swap.

quick update:
i found a evo-III 16g turbo with very little shaft play for 70 bucks!!!
so i gotta modify my header a bit, re-clock the turbo so the j-pipe isn't such a PITA, finish porting(much thanks to the 16g porting tech article), figure out my coolent/oil setup and re-plan my D.P.

im STOKED!!!
