I have as follows. New NGK plugs, EGR blockoff plate, MBC, K&N filter, new battery, new alternator, new belts. and a few others I have listed on my profile. I have some upper and lower ic pipes I will be putting on when I get time. It idles at perfect vacuum. It just has a very funny stumble it's completely random.

Mine has been idling like that for 2 1/2 years, kind of lumpy/bumpy idle. I have never had any sort of stalling issues at idle, nor while on the gas, and just like you I idle at 800 with ~20 in/hg of vacuum. Mine runs perfectly fine, just sounds a bit goofy while idling. Mind you, I have done ZERO mods past a K&N filter, and have never even ran a boost leak test as mine spools up quick and stays solid at 11psi. To me it is perfectly normal, as mine has always been like that. I would like to see what comes of this. My only idea would be to make sure that your timing is on.

Are you logging at all? Boost leaks? These are things that should be check first. With the logger you can get an idea if one of the injectors has an issue. I was us a stethoscope to listen to the injectors. Give it a try.:thumb:

Well, mine doesn't exactly run perfect either. It idles perfect for a while then after track day I went out to start my car the next morning and it did this. I had 4 boost leaks and fixed them all, and it still doesn't hold boost. Compression is really good 160's across the board and a 151 on cylinder 4.

No logging as of now, I have a palm pilot for when I tune my Camaro, but I still need to get the adapter cable for the DSM. I have 0 boost leaks. The system holds boost fine when tested at 15psi and slowly and I mean slowly fades down to 0.

What do you mean slowly goes down to 0? While you are driving and full throttle? Be careful on turning up the boost without having a logger.

I'm not that newby :)

I set my air compressor at 15psi when I boost leak tested. Not while I was driving ROFL

Compression test was done on two occasions at the shop. 164-161-168-151 Yes it's weird, I put a cap full of oil down the plug hole and it lifted up to 158, not that noticeable. I'm pretty sure my rings are fine.

Who said you were a newbie. I guess you dont need help. You already know everything. I am out of ideas. It seems you know more then I do. Good luck. Oh 151 is a difference.

PS If you dont explain in detail then it is hard to know exactly what the person is typing. We cant read minds.

You say also that you have no boost leaks, but then stat right after that it drops down to 0. Sounds like its leaking.ROFL

I wasn't being rude at all, I was joking :| Sorry if I sounded like a dick. i had no intention of coming off that way. :thumb: Besides if I meant to be a dick, I wouldn't be one towards a rep of one of my favorite DSM stores...

Back on subject. There's no way your system will hold 15psi all day, it will leak out eventually if you have it set to TDC.

Should I be worried about a 10 difference on my compression checks? I ran on a large difference on my Camaro for a long time and had no issues, but it doesn't see t3h boostz.

Just because you ran it that way doesnt mean it is okay. Your car will run that way for awhile, but that is not what you want. The difference isnt huge but a sign. This could be a hint on what is to come.

True on the 15psi leaking over a long time. If you gave an actually time it took, that might be some help. Let me know.

I didn't count, but at least 5-10 minutes until the gauge read 0

does nebody know the diagram ot the bbk tb i need to wired it to the tps plug on my 95 ts1

Like he said, way to jack his thread:toobad:,,,,Perhaps if you did a search you would find 4 threads with it in there

Anyhoo, back to the prob at hand, what did your plugs look like when you did a comp test?,,,also did you check the gap on all of them? Sometimes its the simple stuff, sometimes not. I agree on the comp test results, prob not a big deal, but could be a sign of something to come. Would definately be something worth looking itno. We definately need more info to diagnose tho. Good Luck.

They are pretty much new, looked 100% A-ok. Gaped at .026 like they should be...What more info do you need?
