Well, I never really post anything on here, and certainly never anything about my car, so I figured I would for once!!

This is my 1999 GSX which I have owned for around 2 1/2 years. Bought the car with 27,000 miles on it. I have been DD'ing it since then and it currently has around 54k on the clock, and they are no easy miles. I don't even bother driving the car if I am not going to beat the piss out of it. That's just how I roll.
Car has a lot of bugs which I need to work out, shifter cables are bent, The fuel system is acting strange making it difficult to tune, and I have not installed a hydraulic brake yet, so I have no e-brake. Damn life getting in the way of cars! With all its issues the best E.T. I have been able to get out of it was at 11.80 @ 124.8. It will certainly go a lot faster later this year, consistant traps @ 124-125 just rolling off the street.
Brakes are made by the brake man, a full 4 corner kit from www.rhwracing.com. The lightest brakes you can buy without running Ti or CF

Interior is stock, full black leather, the only weight reduction is no spare and no-AC. Nakamichi stereo and some gauges that don't work. Who needs gauges anyways

Plans for the car are changing everyday, I have a 4G64 in the garage that I'm not sure what to do with, but the first things on the list is a transmission and to start shaving weight off the car.
Hubert out

Looks awesome nice work!!!

Tim

I snapped both of mine off, they are simply un-painted OEM dor handles. Brakes are described in the original post. They are made by the brake man, a company which specializes in brakes for race applications

Nice work, very clean!

But I must ask, whats with the RS door handles? Also WTF kind of breaks are thoughs???

It was difficult to move the shifter at times, not related to the gearset. I made my shifter and I assembled the whole thing with thrust bearings and solid bushings, so I knew it wasn't the shifter assembly. I pulled the boots up and the end of the cables were shaped like bananas. I vise gripped them into place for now, and it worked. Shifter is smooth but I have to learn how to drive it again haha.

Looks awesome nice work!!!

Tim

Thanks. Manifold is working well, I picked up a lot of airflow switching to this Mani and a t3 housing. Besides burning myself all the time I can't complain. haha.

Why does the vacuum line on your tial 50mm no go to anything? Or is that just me? Also have you thought of going to link or blowthrough so you can vent that thing? I bet your times would drop significantly too.

Looks very nice man. I'm glad to see the motor is being put to good use! How's it been holding up for you?

Yeah, I was working on the car when I took the photo. Car is running on V3 right now.

Well it's in one piece still! It's been running well, sounds like a diesel now and again idling but runs like a champ. I'm surprised how little blow by I get out of it, just about time for a new turbo - then it will be put to good use :thumb:
