why the aluminum (bumper)plate for ?

looks good none the less,

front wheel(s) are ok

Well i really dont like laser bumper covers but i couldnt find a tsi bumper cover. So i decided to make the laser cover work and not only make it look meaner but again like slipp said its a drag car and more aero dynamic.

You continue to impress me man.
I can't wait to hit the track together.
What do you say,July? :D

Got some parts and did some work tonight.

that is flat out sexy, im doing some body work and some head work, but ## car is very nice.

Curious to know how that clutch disc works for ya. I have a Spec pressure plate and need a disc to go with it and that one is very cheap. But dunno how streetable it'd be (if at all). Just scared to get any disc with springs.....or pay a lot of money just to have one that has springs. Plus, that one is lighter.

I think you mean without ;)

Just get an act street disk there like 100$ new.

Lol, no thanks. If I get anything from ACT again, it'll be a disc "without" springs. I want a puck disc. Just haven't ever driven a car without springs so dunno how it'll feel. I just know the claims of them being killer on the drivetrain. Don't lemme kidnap your thread though.

I cant see that clutch holding that power. Why not jus go with a quartermaster twin disk?

Some parts (dsmlink, act 2600, fidenza flywheel), and the new laser front bumper cover mocked up with aluminum brackets made to secure it along with a 4 inch aluminum front lip. It will look alot better when its painted.

Dont mind the random junker wheels!

I think the front end is coming out great! I may have to go to an angle cut on the bumper cover for the FMIC like you did. It looks alot better than the vertical cuts I made on mine. Coming together nice! Good Luck!

They can handle 512 foot lbs of torque, My car will make much less then that. Twin disk are way to much money, i only have 150$ into my flywheel/clutch setup.

Thanks man i appreciate it! Yea i def think that vertical cuts gives it a good look, and gets the fmic breathing.

This is great build. I am trying to do the same thing. I hope my car could be this clean.
