I just put a full exhaust on my baby Danielle:cool: and i was checking everything out and found smoke coming from what looks like my flex pipe.
Is that a problem? is it suppose to smoke because it's brand new??
Just want to make sure its nothing major?

I would let the car run to normal operating temperature and see if it continues to smoke.

well there could be a number of problems
1.you touched something then you touch your flex pipe and its burning off
2.it did not seal properly and its exhaust smoke
3.it is brand new so the chemicals in the metal (unless its ceramic) are changing causing it to smoke.
4.your seeing things jk LOL :p

hopefully this helps ^^^ what he said let it run for a bit then check

Thanks my fellow DSMer's
It stopped after a drove it for about a half hour, but it started again later when I sat for a while. So I think its burning something

Thanks much tho. Glad it wasnt nothing major

I would ensure all of the joints in your exhaust are tightened properly. If so, then I'd begin to suspect the flex section itself is leaking. It is possible that something residual from the manufacturing process is burning, but it shouldn't be burning for more than half an hour...
