First off, sorry for the poor pic' qaulity.. I haven't figured out the software yet and how to download better images for viewing.

So that being said, I did a 1 thru 3 pull and here's what I recorded. Didn't know all what I should initially look at so just recorded the 5 items + fuel trims. Didn't download the fuel trims as the High Mid and Low ALL read 118% across the board the whole pull.

The car feels good in 1st gear, except a stutter in the mid 4000rpm range and pulls through it and goes up to 6000rpm easy. The 2nd and 3rd pull mildly better, but still feel a little hesitation. From what I can see I'm, running a tad lean and getting a helluva "knock" count (43) in the high rpm range:sosad: I'm running about what I thought was 14-15psi on boost, but noticed today for the first time a spike at 16psi in 2nd gear, might have been a little creep, I don't know.

This is the first log and finally able to see what's what with my add on's and hope to get some insight to better performance out of this car.

I'd appreciate anyone's expertise and input as to what I need to do,or how to fix some of the issues.:thumb:

FP?? I presume you mean my fuel pressure..well it's a stock set up and I don't have anyway of adjusting it. I only ever run 93 gas in it. The fuel mods are next on my list to do. I have a wire mod kit for the pump on the way and will have it installed next week.

You think I'm hitting fuel delivery prob's. I will admit, I think I could do with a fuel filter change. Something I haven't done yet, but probably should.

Looks like your knocking big time... Stop doing pulls with 43 counts LOL... You might have some boost leaks you need to take care of and try lowering the boost to stock( 11-12) and do a log and let us see the knock count... Ya your o2 is reading right on the edge of lean... It should be in the low to mid 90s... If you could can you put your STFT

Thanks for the heads up..;) I kind scared myself when I saw the knock count, as the info I got from TMO logger said 43 was max and there I am pushing 43:ohdamn: No more hard pulls for me and I'm dialing down the boost. I'd happy put out my STFT:sneaky: if I knew what that was. You tell me and I'll get it.

Thanks for the advice.

You need to get a wideband and start logging it. It's a miracle if you haven't broken anyting yet with all that knock. I see you're running the 1g timing map. Don't! It's too much timing even for stock boost levels. I can't take my timing above 17 degrees maximum with 93 octane and 17psi.

Read the tuning guide they offer on the ECMlink wiki. It will offer a lot of insight on how not to destroy your engine.

Short term Fuel Trim :thumb:

Will see if I can figure out Pocketlogger and where it is on the readings.

Looked up ECMLink, couldn't find what you are talking about. Could you post the link:D

As far as your shot of the idle at 813rpm, the logger will show 8* at idle so don't worry. Your O2 volts should cycle between .2v and .8v during closed loop

As far as your full throttle, you need to turn your boost down until you further upgrade. The stock timing map as mentioned is far too aggressive for any decent boost on pump gas.

Go back to stock boost and relog to check the knock goes away.
Then try and increase 1psi, relog, check for no knock.
Try another psi and relog and verify 0-3cts knock.
If you're at a point where there are a few counts of knock(<5), which will most likely occur around 6krpm where timing is 24*, you can lower your base timing using the CAS on the intake cam and timing light, one degree and this should eliminate it or you could lower the boost 1psi.
Engine Timing
I wouldn't really run more than 12-13psi if there's no knock to be safe for now.

Also rewire your fuel pump if you haven't. This is all assuming your car is running properly and maintenance is up to date.
This is really all you can do until you get something that gives you fuel/timing control(DsMap, Ecmlink, AEM,etc)

Buy the right supporting mods first before you blow up your engine

:thumb::thumb: Thanks for the info. I have turned down the boost and will do a couple of runs and see what's happening. Next week I'll have the pump rewired(kit hasn't arrived yet), and I also think I might have a knock sensor problem. Doing some research on the thing saw a couple of posts talk about the thing leaking on the block. Mine is doing just that, but thought it was just engine oil on an older engine.

As far as the timing map, you mind explaining how you figure it's to aggressive? I am curious as to how you can tell. Good info to know and would be helpful to see what you guys are seeing.:hmm:

My mistake. I thought you were running link for some reason. How are you tuning this car. Don't you have any way to adjust your timing curve?

As far as I can determine the only way I can adjust my timing is by seeing what I get of the datalogger and adjust the timing accordingly. The only way right now to adjust my timing is through timing light and moving the CAS.
