Will this setup give me an accurate measurement of how much I'm boosting or should I tee the line between the MBC and the Wastegate Actuator?

That should work, although most people run the guage off the intake manifold.

You will have better reading of the boost pressure if you tap the source at the intake manifold or even better at the throttle body. So you will have the exact reading of wich pressure the engine is really having. Pressure drop a bit through intercooler. And if you want to have vaccuum reading too on your gauge, it will not work if you tap it at the compressor housing. Vaccuum is only created past the throttle plate

+1 you NEED to know how much boost the motor is seeing not how much boost the turbo is pushing. Always try and put your boost gauge after the TB on the intake is the BEST place for it.:thumb:

So since I've converted from a N/T to a turbo therefore do not have a FPS, can I tap the vacuum line I used for the aftermarket FPR for my boost gauge source?

It is best to tap into your intake pipe.... in between your BOV and your throttle plate is best

the line that goes to the boost gauge should be tee'd with the FPR ...

T-ing off the bov hose works but can sometimes cause the bov to not function correctly, T off the fps or else the "P" line that goes to the throttle body

Reading from as close to the centre of the inlet mani plenum the better.
The Evo 3 mani eg: has it's fuel reg spigot at the end, which is a no brainer
because there is a pulse effect picked up at the end. Also fills with oil & crap.
Anywhere between the middle & the brake vac line is more acurate for a
gauge, map sensor & to run a bc from.
Cheers !

+1 you will get inaccurate readings anything pre throttle body once its closed and the gauge will surge before the BOV realeases every time you go closed throttle.

I ran mine of the 'P'' line on the throttle body with no issues. Try taping it at the throttle body.

does the "p" line give vaccum also? i ask only because i tried this and it did not work. or maybe i had it on the wrong port?
