Mine is just the lower ball joint (passenger side still under recall). Just waiting to hear from Mitsu about them towing it to the dealership(35 miles one way).

Knows they should just give him the new control arm and he could have it done in 10 minutes.

Should know I've already talked to the service tech to see if I could do that.

Knows when I asked the Mitsu dealer to replace a lower control arm for me (not under recall as it was already claimed), they told me it would take 4 hours and cost over $300 just for labor!!

Should know that how they get you. The part is only 80.00 and then they charge you out the ass for labor.

Should know my part was only $30 Even more labor rapage.

Have to call them back in 15 to 30 minutes the head service tech is calling to pressure for the tow. He said its a open recall and its there problem to tow it. Then he told me that if it was towed the front end was most likely going to get messed up so mitsu would have to fit the bill for that also..

Said that towing the car will mess up the front end??

The ball joint came apart and the tire is leaning in. SO if ya tow it the front end (passenger) would most likely get messed up. He told me they tell the tow truck driver to take the tire off to make it easier to pull on the tow truck.

Should know I didn't realize it was that serious.
