...yea i was asking myself, y is the glass still intact...?! seems like that would of been done....why would someone go as far to cut wires and hoses, but not touch any of the glass...?
I'm going to have to agree here.
This all happened in one night? Cut every wire? cut every hose? destroyed the turbo? Did the just bang on it while still on the car or took the time to remove it? Every peice of interior slashed, every panel on the car keyed or spray painted? Removed the ECU and beat on it? Oil feed line cut? Did they think to bring a good pair of bolt cutters? Removed all the intercooler piping? And theres more?!?
Either A) this was done by about 20 people or B) Me thinks this was a fraud, gone horribly bad (most people don't realize the insurance won't cover you aftermarket parts). Either way this sucks for the car.
And Kris, thanks for taking out the trash, bro!
havent you ever played street fighter, takes 30 seconds to demolish a car
Insurance Fraud
so his insurance company can call it a total loss, then he can get what the car is worth, then buy the back the car from the insurance company and still have money in his pocket,it's a major strategy IMO
Someone he knew personally and pissed off
if it was a fraud he wouldn't damage the engine o other stuff he knew the insurance would't pay for
I don't think so... You would need a car jack and jack stands (special tool) to get under the car enought to get the downpipe off the 02 housing, it takes alot of torque to get the turbo bolts broken loose, maybe with a impact gun (special tool) and a compressor (special tool and loud as crap). But you're already looking at 15 minutes doing that.Im pretty sure I could get mine off in 15. Have to hustle hard though.
But anyways, yeah that sucks. I dont know what to make of it as far as what actually happened to it, nor do I care. It just sucks that a decent car was destroyed. Even though, yes it was ricey.
