Had the chance to tune Curt's 1G last weekend and we were all satisfied with the results!

Spent some time on pump gas, 24psi creeping to 26psi. This is straight 93 octane, no meth, made 650awhp 423ftlbs. We could have leaned on the car a bit more on pump, but decided to keep it conservative, throw in Q16, and turn up the boost. Unfortunetly, the ACT2900 gave out at only 781awhp and 38psi, so we had to call it a day. Big props to Curt for putting together yet another solid car.

Quick Mod List:

Buschur 2.0L
Built Head with FP Internals
Shearer T3 Header
FP 3586HTA
JMF Drag Manifold
Buschur FMIC
DSMlink V3 TPG Tuned
Shep Trans and Tcase
ACT2900 w/ Street Disc

Just an FYI, this is a full on street car which is driven almost everyday!

I don't consider anything over 91 to be pump, that's like saying everyone can get it. Although its just more 'stuff' added in at the stations, its more than what I can get down the street.
Props on the huge power though :D

Whats the next clutch to go in there?

Awesome work, Curt & Nate. I'm looking forward to seeing this car at PRP this season!

Should be there in just a few weeks, just waiting on a better clutch and a little more time to dial in the setup!!

What's the next step clutch-wise, twin-disc? I know Curt's a fan of doing amazing things with single-disc ACT's (regarding horsepower and 60ft times), but he's probably reaching the bitter end of single-disc potential.

I'll have to meet you guys in person when I'm up at PRP. Some of my Maryland crew knows you, but everytime I'm around you're always busy and I don't want to bug you.

Amazing work!

Have you guys tuned any cars with the FP3052, GT3076r (any turbine housing), or the HTA GT3076r?

Im just looking for some numbers of what these turbos can put down, when tuned by pros. I have a bolt-on GT30 and will be looking for somone to tune it with DSMLink this summer...

6-puck disc for now, custom twin carbon is on order.

We may look busy, but I always have time to BS! Your in Greensburg? You should stop up to our new shop location and check it out!

Haven't had my hands on a HTA 3076R yet, but a few years ago we made a hair over 500awhp on a bolt on FP3052. Its a great pump gas street turbo capable of low 10's on a prepared car.

I thought Curt sold his black 1g shell? Did he go out and build ANOTHER monster fast, super clean black 1gb?

Ha, yes this is ANOTHER car. He sold the other black shell to a friend of mine. Its hard to believe, but this one is even cleaner!

I'm always amazed to see what you guys can pull out of a setup. Congrats!

A couple of questions: What were your afr's on the 93oct runs? And what's "too lean" in your eyes?

Thanks!

AFRs were in the 11.2-11.3 range, it depends on the setup, but leaner than 11.5-11.6 on pump gas and this boost would probably start to detonate.

Well east coast can get it. Sorry for you westerners.

Awesome! A high horsepower, turbocharged, all wheel drive, daily driven street beast! Not a race car, show car, demo car, or weekend warrior, but an actual factual DSM. :thumb:

I'll take two, please. :dsm:

Easy to say you guys are doing amazing work. I'm happy to get within 100hp on the same turbo you are using because I know there is years of know how and T&T in what you guys do.

I like how simple the car looks on the outside. I would never guess 650awhp was under the hood. That's some good tuning.

Great work as always. Im glad to see good results with the JMF drag mani also since this is what I plan to be running. To clear this up, since Im still not sure, so this car is on 93 octane w/ no additives, or is this dyno sheet of a tune using E85? Because ethanol is pump gas too, though it is tolerant like race gas... Either way, the numbers are still sick and hard to duplicate in the real world LOL.
