The front vent window thing is there because the full length window wouldn't roll downproperly due to it,s shape and the doors shape and layout. Also, the widows prevent buffeting when the windows are down at speed.

The EVO is the only thing that is keeping Mitsubishi in the game and they should have brought it to the US several years ago. I guess they still do not understand what the US market wants in reguards to other cars.

I think it looks pretty cool. I give Mitsubishi credit for trying to change their ways. They're goin back to performance again. Plus, just think of how much potential that engin has. I mean, 3.8?! I can only imagine what numbers that will be puttin out with a turbo/supercharger! I really wouldn't mind havin one with some aftermarket headlights(which we all know will be out there) and then a some nice rims like the ones photoshopped earlier.

Mitsubishi has been struggling but I think they're kinda comin back, maybe. I don't know much about it, but I've read that they're really changing. Look at the cars they're comin out with. The new eclipse, lancer evo(the evo X looks bad as hell by the way...can't wait to see it in person), the galant to compete with accords/camry's. Plus, the quality is also really good too. We'll see though, I'd like to see them pull through their slump.

will there be dodge and chyrsler clones of this model, like the 3rd gen eclipse (ex: dodge stratus coupe) ?

Dayum! That looks sick dude! That is one of the cleanest looks I've ever seen. The stance on the new eclipse is so powerful lookin. It's like it's about to pounce on it's prey.LOL :p

not to forget the OUTLANDER TURBO 4G63 coming soon..

nway the 4G is not too bad, cmon its stock. But in honestly the window divider and side mirrors are the ones that isnt too appeling that you cant really change much, unfortunately. But the photoshopped version looks like something of its kind that Id definitely jump right in and drive..

altho 2Gs are the shit, we cant be stuck in the 90s forever, gotta move on somehow :shurgs: lets make something out of the 4Gs :thumb: aint waiting for the 5Gs hoping to look just like a 2G.

I really like theblack over two tone look. I seriously hope there isn't a dodgeor chrysler version simply because those cars aren't needed. Mitsu needs the sales and although the Stratus and Sebring Coupes never sold extremely well they only seem to pirate sales from the Eclipse itself rather than from other coupes like the Camry Solara or Accord Coupe.

Looks nice, I see it occasionally at the end of my block with manufacter plates on it.

First time I saw it was at Olive Garden of all places, I thought it was an Audi TT at first as I just glanced at it, then I looked back and it saw ECLIPSE.

I like it, but I'm a cheap bastard and wouldn't pay over 10K for any car. ;) :dsm:

Here's hoping you really like the radio they pick for you
Yeah that is a disturbing trend for a lot of cars these days, including ours. The base radio might still be DIN style though, I haven't seen it yet.
But hey, it's not all bad. Hookers!! :thumb: :sneaky:
:coy: Ummm, no that's our office manager and title clerk.

The Chrysler coupes have been cancelled. OR at least they won't be produced at Normal, so there won't be an Eclipse variant running around under the Chrysler name. The also keep insisting that this is the final Project America car (not including the Spyder that comes next year). P.A. is the name of the chassis that is under this, the Endeavor and Galant. So there are no plans to bring out an uber full sized luxo sedan on a stretched Galant chassis to revive the Diamante.

 Yeah it would be a terrible shame to be associated with or mistaken for two upscale models with better market perception.

ok...it does not change the fact that it is... :barf: ...UGLY!

It was a joke and I am not saying that it is worthy to be compared with these two cars. It was a example of what it reminds me of when you mix two cars together. 4g is not going to be able to come close to being comaped to these cars maybe the v6 accord.... :boring:

I think you're wrong about that. The press will compare it with those cars. And I think it is going to hold its own very well. You'll see.

The press may compare them but the performance numbers will not come close....

I can't wait to see!

Some times cars like these grow on me...but it has not yet ROFL

And the 3g still has not... LOL!

in stock form its fugly, but it has potential to look good with some aftermarket upgrades, but it really needs to be RWD, and put some nice deep dish wheels on the back

"Rather, the Eclipse will duel it out with an ever decreasing number of front-wheel drive imported coupes. Now, only the Acura RSX, Hyundai Tiburon and new Scion tC are left to do battle, with the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry Solara coupes as potential rivals among less sport-oriented buyers."

"Competitors: Acura RSX, Chrysler Sebring Coupe, Dodge Stratus Coupe, Ford Mustang Coupe, Honda Accord Coupe, Hyundai Tiburon, Pontiac G6 Coupe, Scion tC, Toyota Camry Solara "

Keep on wishing...

"Acceleration (0 - 60 mph): 6.0 seconds" not even close

"Curb Weight (max): 3,611 lbs" Wow that is heavy!

With 263hp and 260ft/lbs of torque, I don't think it'll be as far off as you think.

Did you read the same thing I did? I don't see how it will be close. HP to a certain extent does not matter these days it is all about the engineering as far as stock cars goes.
