i cant speak to the specific product quality but thats not something obx is really know for anyway

If it mounts the same and is of equal strength then it might be as good but the key word here is "might". If you don't really do any road racing and want it more for looks and hoping that it will do somthing for you on a daily driver then I would say go for it what's 35.00.

I imagine the "design" is real close. OBX is known for taking existing products and "reverse engineering" them in a cheap way. If the materials are of the same quality on a piece like this you can't go wrong. If it was something more mechanical or had lots of moving parts I would say stay away. For $35 you can atleast try it and report back how it works for you.

Buy it
Try it

Remember the ebay fmic ?. maybe this is a good ebay product too

I am thinking about buying a set of these now.:hmm:
They look pretty well made.
Plus they have a life time warranty.:sneaky:
You get the front and rear for 70 bucks.
Does anyone know how noticeable of a difference they will make?
If so what differences did they make?

I never got around to doing this. Ive been fixing stuff instead of modding it ever sense i bought the car. sorry

Can't see the link at work...

However, if the front bar does attach between the lateral arms (straight) as opposed to the control arm (curved) it could do some good. Providing the quality is "up-to-speed" and you push the car hard enough (which should not happen on the street).

As for the rear...On a 2G a rear lower tie bar is pointless as it is already braced about as good as you're going to get. I know as I wasted $25 on one and when I crawled under the car I realized what a waste it was. I put it on anyway just to give the people behind me something else to look at, but it serves no other purpose.

But talk about bringing something back from the dead!!

Well I still want to get them.
I just want to get all my suspension above par, before I do any major performance upgrades like a turbo.
FORMONTOYA, did you install the front and the rear, or just the rear?
I'm asking because, I want to know how much of a difference it'll make.
Thanks.

Ye yea its a old thread cry me a river, has anyone bought the obx under braces for the front and back its cheaper than the front tanabe underbrace.
