Nice job j rod. So I will be there saturday but I dont think I will have the car ready. I installed a timing belt this weekend and found my oil pump housing to be bad and I am having a hell of a time finding a new pump. If anyone knows where an oil pump for a 6 bolt is, holler at me please. I really want to bring the car, seein how I am one of the guys who put this thing together, and now I may not have a car to run!!!!!!

The only idea I have for you is to make a post on rmdsm.org and some one local is bound to have one. I know of a couple of guys on there that would have one. Sorry I couldnt be more help.

You might be able to find one at the local J.Y. as well.
This place has a good amount of 6 bolt dsms.

Well right on fella's! I got lucky late last night and an old friend of mine at a local car quest over nighted a 6 bolt pump for me so I will be gettin this thing together after all. Now hopfully everything will go well and the weather will clear up so I can tune the 1200S again. See you guys there.

Hey just a side note, we are gonna have 2 or 3 domestics show up at the dyno. They are real good friends of mine, so look forward to making some noise for sure!:hellyeah:

You should have went to do the dealer and got an OEM oil pump. Using a carquest or autozone oil pump is asking for trouble.

would the oil pump off of a 2g work, i blew the head gasket, wife wants me to junk it, but id rather get rid of the parts inside the community, its a 420a though, so probably not.

No it would be no where near close to working considering the motor's are 110% different. :ohdamn:

i know it was kind of a dumb question, still a newb at this, didnt know if there was a work around for it or not

Didn't see any post on RMDSM about it so you might have found one, but I have a 6-bolt front case. It might have already had the balance shaft removal stuff done to it. I'm not sure exactly though. Either way I'm sure I have a 6-bolt front case in my garage. Email me or J-Rod knows my number too if you know him.

I also have contact info on my website FullyBoosted Motorsports

Just to let everyone know. We are still going to try and do this. The roads should be fine by Saturday. I live right down the street from Mac, so I'll be there. Hope to see a good turn out still.

if the weather gets better ill be down in the prelude, havent decided weather im going to ax the talon, or fix it yet, i hink im leaning towards parting it out though

I'm not going to be able to make it, so somebody NEEDS to take pics and videos :hellyeah:

Hey guy,
I just got back from Mac. We ARE still doing this. The order we will be running has changed. Mac needs to run all 1G first then the 2G second. So if you are coming and have a 1G, please get there as soon as you can. We will be starting at 9:30. We need at least 10 cars to get the discount of $55 for three pulls. The roads in Parker are clear and drying out. Please come if you can. This is going to be a lot of fun and I would like to meet some local DSMer.

Please PM me if you are coming so I can get an idea on the number of people.

My brother and I both have 2gs and are going to be there We also have a friend with a honda that would like to come dyno as well if thats cool and a friend with a WRX might come im not sure yet. But would it be cool if both of those cars dyno ?

Well I have to say that was a very sorry turn out. We had a told of 8 cars that showed.

Thanks to the guys that showed up. We had some 4g63's putting down some really good numbers.

I would like to do something like this again, but not sure it would be worth it now.

It wont. Ive setup a couple meets. Both times 90% of the people who said they were comming didnt show. Thats just the way it is.

i thought i was going to get made fun of showing up in a prelude, so is skipped :D

It was lame dude, i drove up from colorado springs and it was cool to finally see Mac Auto, those guys seem like real pros; but otherwise a waste of my time and gas, lovely day for a drive up 83 but i got stuck behind some f350. I got out of the car and saw 1 car spin the rollers then some guy said "any body else wanna run" I'm like WTF? Thought there were like 15-20 cars trying to run its only 12? that 3kgtvr4 convert was crazy tho, not super clean but a crazy rare mits none the less.

:talon:

aight so i was told my car would be done friday and it wasnt so i didnt have a car to go up there but i had the money i wanted to go really bad just didnt have a car to go in:banghead:.... so i bought a 60 trim and it was to big for the headers i have when i try to mount the turbo i have a leak between the headers and turbo because the turbo keeps hittin block so i had to take it to the shop so they could order the spacer the goes between the head and the exhaust manifold so it would give it the room it needed to fit right without any leaks but if you decide to do another ill be down for sure and i have a bunch of friends that would love to come down with me

Sorry there wasn't a better turnout, but it was enjoyable to meet some of the locals guys and see their cars. I wish my car had put up some better numbers but I am still learning and appreciate others imparting their lessons and wisdom. Thank you to those who worked to put this together!

Did any NT's show up or were they all turbo's?
