I'm working on doing a timing belt for the first time. While trying to get the tension right for the 4th time, I forgot to put the pin in the timing belt tensioner while releasing tension on the belt. I backed out the md998738, special tool slowly. In the process, it looked like the tensioner rod fully extended for about 15 seconds. I noticed it and tightned the rod back down. The last thing I want is damage to the tensioner making the belt jump. Is it damaged? It sounds like from the factory service manual I put a hurtin on it What do you guys think?
