I recently acquired this turbo for $400 and it is in very very good condition. It has the Race 360 Center Section and it is Mitsu flanged. I really haven't seen to much information on this turbo. I was just wanting to know some questions. it says. What time do you guys think this turbo will spool at on a 2.0? What kind of numbers can this put down on pump gas (91) and a good tune? Is it a pretty good street turbo? What other turbo is it comparable to?

What are your overall goals? I have a 6169 and I still consider it to be very streetable. I see about 20 psi by 4300 rpm's on a 2.0 with ported 2g mani. I love this turbo and there is a huge thread about this turbo if you just search pte on here. Also if you wnat to kno more twicks69 on here is very knowledgable about this turbo.

I was trying to make around 400 on pump gas. I have a DNP mani which should help the spool and a SMIM. I dont have cams, but that is on my things to do.

i run a sc6152sp turbo on my 2.4 stroker and see full boost (35 psi) by 4500. I made some where arond 450whp on pump last year with lower boost.

I get full boost 23psi at 4400=4500 on a good day on the tired 7 bolt. Definitely streetable, then again everyone has different standards. In my case it helps with wheel spin which is a plus. As far as the bench racing question I can see it putting down an easy 350 on 91 and 400 with a good tuner and/or 93 oct. If you search there is a pretty big thread on this turbo.

If your goals are around the 400hp mark and want a street car, why jump to a 6152? There are smaller turbos that have better spool time and are quite capable to 400hp. I mean this is an option but is there a reason you want this (ie. local sale, good used price, etc?)

I already have the turbo. I got it for $400 and it has 0 miles on the rebuild it had. Im just looking for a 400whp car on pump. I'm not 100% positive if I want to go E-85 or not. But if I do, then I want to leave room to make some nice numbers on E. I'll just have two maps.
