Well, had a little dyno time tonight, made some good pulls, car was running great and tuned really smooth. I always do my own tuning, better that way IMO.

This is my GS-T daily driver running on a stock 7 bolt bottom end and 264/272 HKS cams.

I was quite impressed on the power we made, finally got some numbers up on here. Soon I will get numbers for the GSX. Just waiting on a clutch and we'll get her tuned.

Here is a quick video of the pull, kinda boring, but we did it.

YouTube - Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T 420hp on stock block

This was taken on a DynaMite, but we converted the numbers to DynoJet. We made 376 on the DynaMite, (which is much more accurate) and the inflated DynoJet numbers were 419. I'll take it. :)

Great advance through the pulls, total timing getting in the 19* range. No knock, smooth curve and fuels around 11.4. We ran 110 on 24psi. Wasn't going to push my luck any more than that.

Nice to have a 400hp daily driver. :thumb:

Nice run. Profile says stroker but you said stock 7 bolt bottom end???

he dynoed his gs-t which has the stock 7bolt. the gsx he was talking about needing the clutch has the stroker

Nice numbers mikelv!
that frank3 has the 54trim compressor wheel correct?

Real nice!! Which turbo are you currently on?

GST: 3065 stroker setup----------

Hey thanks for the comments guys.

Sorry to confuse you guys. I have two cars. Both 97's, one is my daily driver (GS-T) and the other is my track car (GSX).

Currently, the GS-T is running the Frank 3 on a stock 7 Bolt, and the GSX is running a 2.3 stroker on a 3065. (I need to update my profile again since I haven't been able to put up the numbers for my GSX. :sneaky:

My good friend claims we can throw well over 700 on that stroker setup, I just don't think it's going to happen with the 3065. He says we can do it, and he's a pretty reputable but I have my doubts. To this point, we've only broken 600 on it, lower boost. (29 psi)

The argument is that we can advance the timing maps enough, and with good supporting mods, we can break 700 easy. Guess we'll see.

Eventually, this year I'll be building a good drivetrain for the GS-T and throwing the GSX setup in there in favor of a 2.0, 4202 high rev AWD nightmare. At the same time, giving myself a FWD Stroker monster.

I only threw down the dyno just out of curiosity.

Guess I'll have to find another stock DSM for a daily driver. :)

Good numbers!
I thought it was pretty clear after looking at your profile and you made it clear there was a gs-t and a gsx:thumb:
Some people just stare at the screen and assume, while some of us actually read whats in front of us and comprehend it:hmm:

The Frank 3 runs a TD06 compressor housing, 3 inch inlet, with a 57 trim wheel ported and clipped 10 degrees....great spool. I've got the specs sheet on this old school bad boy somewhere I'll post up. I've had this turbo since 2000, and only have about 2500 miles on it.

Ha, yeah man, I hear ya.

Well, I had updated my profile quite a few times, and mostly listed out my AWD mods. But I got bored the other day, so decided to post up the GS-T stuff.

Soon as I get the twin disc in the AWD I should be able to get things right there. :thumb:

nice run on the dyno. props!
if i may ask, what are the mods to the 7 bolt? this is about as high as i want to get on my taleon as far as whp goes so it will be more reliable. i read the cams and turbo. fuel injectors, and EMS, intake mainfold, stuff like that, if you want to share anyways?

Nice. That's what I'm aiming for on my GST. Hopefully, I can fix her up enough to take her to the dyno. I'm fighting quite a bit of miscellaneous problems now.

Man that is freakin sick!!! What are you going to do with 700hp? Id be happy with 600. But man I applause you, you truly are a DSM'er. A 400hp Daily driver and a soon to be 700hp Race car..wow.

Man, thanks guys for all the comments. Heck I was quite surprised we were able to pull that power.

Tell you the truth, I think we could held 500hp for one or two good pulls. ;)

Nice vid! What size injectors are you running?

Very nice numbers...

I had a buddy running 30 psi on a stock 7 bolt, for the last two summers..When will it blow Idk, but thats what hes trying to do so he can build..
